I came across the Apple IEM's for $59 on Amazon. are they worth it? My S4i have fallen apart and I'm making due with taking my ATH-M50's everywhere with me.

They are even better for $25 (off ebay from Hong Kong if you don't mind waiting)

Or $40 shipped from San Francisco:

I bought a pair of refurbished ADDIEMS last spring for about $30 and have had no issues with them. They are really detailed for the money ($25-30) but a little bright and light on bass for some genres (Electronic, Hip Hop). With my CMOY BB adding about 10db on the low end I even enjoy them with Dubstep (Skrillex).

For $60 I don't know... For $70 I got a pair of Brainwavz M3s that have served me well. Smooth, well balanced sound with deeper, fuller bass than the ADDIEMS.  I think there are better IEMs for $60.

My bad. I wasn't saying to buy from that source. I apologize for not checking the feedback. I bought mine refurbished for $30 but I can't recall the seller. I was just pointing out that you can find them for much cheaper than $60. The links I posted were the first two to come up and I expected the OP to do his own searching. I was just trying to save the OP some money.

How about these:

8607 Positive feedback..... I would verify that that they are the ADDIEMS and not the cheaper earbuds because this is even cheaper ($15). They are showing the ADDIEMS in the photo.

130 Positive Feedback.... $25 also.

Lol...love the zero feedback, and posted from eBay Mobile note at the bottom of the auction. Looks totally legit

Do you think they are legit? From my experience i would say yes but 0% feedback doesnt seem very nice.

Fugazi as are almost all brand name products from HK.  You can pick up minty used ones for $20-$25/  I bought a used pair for $20 shipped locally from someone who deals in all manner of new/used Apple computer parts/components.  You just have to keep your eyes open.

I wouldn't pay $60 for them but if you need something with a mic I guess it makes it easy.

btw, I bought some ebay earbuds before that were advertised as apple earbuds but they were obviously fake and were unlistentoably bad sounding

I've been quite satisfied with the ADDIEM. I purchased mine for $25 on eBay a couple years ago. They were covered under a recall from Apple, the controls were faulty and would stop working from any kind of moisture (using them in the gym would do it).

I've accidentally put the replacements through the wash 3 times now and they still work perfectly and sound really good.

The bass is a little light, but still enjoyable. The overall sound of these is really good IMO. If I didn't have any other earphones, I'd likely pay $59 for them as I think they're worth it.

I have to use the Sony hybrid tips with them though. The included tips are junk, as usual.

I liked the ADDIEMs they had good detail tight bass.  I think $60 is an ok price
