Hi. Does Spotify work on this dap?
Thanks Jason. I appreciate you being so proactive in this thread!Still being tested. There is a new firmware that is being prepped for release this month that will add Deezer and DS Audio app support, but I don't think Audible or Pocketcasts will make that update unfortunately. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are a holiday in Korea and our offices are closed. I will check status with our team when they are back in the office on Thursday.
Yes, you would need to sideload the Spotify app via our Open App service. You can find out more information, what apps are supported and how to sideload apps via this link - https://us.activostyle.com/blogs/news/open-app-feature-explainedHi. Does Spotify work on this dap?

Thanks. I have an ak se100 for home use. Maybe this is the ideal work option. What size micro SD will it take?Yes, you would need to sideload the Spotify app via our Open App service. Reading the CT10 manual, there is no indication of how externally-created playlists would work (or if they are supported at all). Do M3U or PLS files play on the CT10?
Unfortunately, there is not. All apps must be on the approved list. Due to the limited resources, memory and CPU power, all apps are tested before being approved in order to make sure they do not affect the overall functionality of the player. This is also done to prevent any apps that may cause other issues with the player from being installed and slowing down the player or UI. All apps are tested before being approved. Also, there are certain Android apps that require Google Play Services and a valid Google Play Store installed on the device for DRM and authentication purposes. Since this player does not allow access to the Google Play store, apps that require it for authentication purposes will not work - for example - Apple Music, Google Music, YouTube, etc. Thanks Jason. If there was a way to install apps even if unofficially supported, I'd give this device a go. It's the whitelisting/blacklisting that is stopping me from trying. Am I right to understand that even if I extract the APK off my own device and attempt to install via OpenAPP on the CT10, it would be blocked?

Yes, the player supports both m3u and pls playlists. However, there is a bug with external playlists that was introduced with the addition of the Open App service that allows additional streaming apps to be added to the player that affects certain external playlists from working correctly. This is being worked on by the software team and will hopefully be fixed in a future firmware update.Based on the lack of response, I'm going to assume the answer is "no, there is no ability to create arbitrary playlists from external sources, which is a thing every MP3 player supported ten years ago."

The CT10 and all AK players will support up to 2TB microSD cards. Current largest microSD cards readily available in retail are 512Gb cards. We recommend formatting as FAT32 for best results.Thanks. I never ever find a best matching of tracks - dap - amp - inear as this string in pics.
Want to drops tears by the song on CT10 while SP1k can't do.
The case $300 can do more than $3500.
Got mine currently playing through the ALO Continental V2 into some Ultrasone XDPs. It's breathtakingly good. slam, depth and just soooo fun! It's brilliant on its own as well. I've got folk on another thread telling me it can't sound better than my old Pioneer XDP300r because the Pioneer is more expensive. Well, to my ears it blows the Pioneer out of the water in terms of bringing my music to life, and the eq's - which I normally don't use - work great. My only gripe is the battery life, which is kind of average. Overall am a very happy camper. First DAP since my Cowon days I've owned and loved on its own merits, not just stacked with an amp...

hey Jason. I have previously connected the Activo to my MacBook Air and successfully used it as a dac. But when I went to download the open app and get the Android tidal, the computer does not acknowledge activo is connected. Is there a setting I am missing for the activo and man to connect?
