I really enjoy the sound sig of the D2000's and 780's so I was wondering if there any IEMS that sound similar to them. I'd like to stay under $100 but could spend a little more if it would make a difference.
My music preferences are mainly trance, dnb, and electronic (I'd say about 90% or so) with some jazz mixed in (6%) and a little of everything else. I'm fairly new to IEMS so any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you like bass dont you? hippo vb or playaz n1.
i got the hippo vb and its got good quality bass yet not overpowering on the rest of the frequency. and for the rest of the frequency its really good and clear with pretty wide 3d soundstage. the highs are harsh out of the box but it will smooth with a long burn-in.
from what i've read about the playaz n1 its got smoother and airier sound with much stronger bass, too much for some audiophiles, but not something that a good EQ cant solve. read about them here, theres lots of reviews on them both.

I'm a bass-head and have to say the UE TF10 also.
