Appreciate the response, and it's understandable. DAC/AMPs normally give more power than DAPs so they tend to need 'more power' as well, I think.

I test it yestherday but didn’t notice a gain with ath ckr100.... i will try with others iems and headphones

USB dongle types DACs are run by power from USB output and often they demand more than our players are able to provide. It's not about battery concerns, but about simply not being able to work.

As such, we always recommend to use USB DAC with their own power (battery or from outlet).

hi guys, does anyone have the sabbat e12 or x12 tws on them?
when i pair it with the shanling q1 it connects then after 4 seconds it disconnects. cant seem to get it to work. other tws like the jadeaudio ew1 all work with no issues. curious if anyone else has this issue

I can only recommend to make sure you have set matching BT codec on your Q1 and to try factory reset on the TWS.
