It's like this from beginning of our system, I can't promise any change to this.

I really appreciate your responsiveness - it makes me want a Shanling even more!

Fyi, this is the option that rockbox includes:

Restart Sleep Timer On Keypress - Yes/No

I have that set to Yes so that when I turn the DAP on in the middle of the night, the sleep timer restarts (and I don't have to go fumbling through menus while half asleep). Possibly I am in the minority for needing that feature, but I can't see it hurting.

Anyway, thanks for the consideration.

Wayne

Dear @Shanling
With all of this virus mess in China, are you able to predict the time of shipment start?
The situation os not very friendly, but hope that you'll manage to deliver Q1 to all the backers soon.

How’s the fit and finish?
It's looks nice, the rubber case fits nicely and gives extra grip to the unit, but is easily removed. It's bigger than I was expecting, even knowing the dimensions, but not a complaint. I have an M0 and love it, but it is so small that my broken down, stiff fingers and thumbs have trouble grasping on to it. Q1, not as bad.
Still haven't actually used it yet.

Question(s)

Do I need to reformat my SD card within the Player? Or is it plug n play w/ SD Card from my Phone?

Does the Player give you the option to Delete Songs Permanently?

You can just put in any card and it will work fine.

We of course recommend to use freshly formatted card with just music files, for example music library scan is faster if the card is not full of all randoms files that Android puts there.

Yes, you can delete songs from card directly in menu of Q1.

Thanks, 1 more question. If its being used as a USB DAC, is it running off of Internal battery or is it being USB Powered? Do I have the option to set it to use USB Powered in USB DAC mode?

More Question...

How do I shuffle play via Folder ?

E.g The way I have my Music organize is... Artist Name(Folder) > Albums(Folders) In this case... TOOLS > TOOL Albums(Folders)

i don't seem to have the option to shuffle play All of TOOLS Albums

P.S - My USB Hub has a Charging port (combined current of 5V 3A) Is it safe to charge the Q1 from the hub?

How exactly do I delete a song that I came across during my Shuffle All Songs with over 10K songs on this beautiful DAP? The player doesn't take you to the current song thats playing for you to delete.

Currently, there is no quick / simple way to delete a track if you're shuffling all songs, unless I miss it please enlighten me.
If you back out into My Music > All Songs, The DAP takes you to very Top, In my case imagine going throw 10K songs to delete 1 track.

Are you able to Add an Option within the " i " (Song Info) "Delete Track from Device" ?
Or Some way to delete a track that is currently playing
Or Have the DAP Automatically highlight the current playing track when accessing My Music> All Songs
