Well I understand his wife is directly involved in the dealership still there are other one man audio dealer operations they would never ignore a question from a potential sale , coming up to a month to answer a simple yes or no question is not normal . I like hearing directly from the horses mouth,,.. I’ll still purchase the KTE dac I’m just not happy with no response,..
I didn't mean to defend the practice just a potential explanation. I too waited far too long for replies from him and found my answers elsewhere. Anyway, enjoy the music while you wait.

I’m certainly not defending a failure to answer a customer email. It is always possible he did not see/receive it so I would give the benefit of doubt unless it is a verified address from which others have received a reply. I can’t believe such a small business would ignore an email from a potential customer but I’ve given up on being surprised! What email did you use?

I know , I do have patience however there really isn’t any excuse , I asked again a week ago and no response yet ,.i don’t know ,,.perhaps better management of their time who knows . My question was a very basic one that a single word answer would of sufficed , ,..yes or no, ,..I shouldn’t have to go on a forum to ask a question the dealer should be able to easily answer .,,..The question was , do I need a 5v powered USB cable for the KTE ?

Ha, I asked him the same question. Yes, it needs 5V but only for signaling. He could probably avoid many emails if he answered the more common questions and put them on the product page.

Really lol ,. Well I’ll put in my order in , hopefully they jump to attention when a payment is deposited,...

Nah, it still takes 10 days or so for responses. I put in my order Feb 8th and still have a few more weeks to go. Now that Chinese New Year holiday is over they are back to work. This is not a large outfit in China though. Just a handful of passionate music lovers with talent as I understand. They can only make them so quickly. I'm sure the wait has turned off many and is understandable. I don't mind though. It's a DAC not oxygen or water.

For those who aren't in the US, there are other places to purchase from too. Speaking from firsthand experience wildism's customer support is top notch. He usually responds in <1hr if you message him via Facebook.

I believe kitsune has exclusive sales rights in the US though so if you're there then you'll need to go through kitsune.

You have clearly never received 1000 emails in one day.

What is Facebook. I'm old and I haven't used it for 10 years.
You can also email him wildismaudio@yahoo.com.hk

They operate mostly through facebook/weibo. Apparently its pretty common in asia.

But yeah, I had an awesome experience with him. Would highly recommend

Wow , a 1000 emails a day , you an employee of the dealer ? ,.Lol , if ran a business that received a 1000 emails a day ,.a 1000 potential customers asking questions I would see to it those 1000 questions would get answered in a most efficient and timely manner , I would also study the frequency of repeated questions that could easily be posted on the dealers web site . If sales are that hot and your being overwhelmed, pull the thumb out of your ass and deal with it ,...

i understand the waiting time , my point was the dealer can’t deal with answering a question so perhaps a firm order with a cash deposit in their bank they’ll notice that email ,...

And neither do you speak for everyone here, so quit your whining about a luxury item that you are able to afford. I am sure Kitsune would love to respond to every inquiry, and there may be times where they have to deem which responses are the most important. If your questions is deemed a lesser priority, it probably will be responded to at some point.
If you are a dealer or manufacturer or someone who runs a small business a 1000 emails a day can be overwhelming. Your suggestion of studying the emails received to deem what information should be posted on their website is an interesting approach. Do you have a background in data analysis by any chance? If so, you should send Kitsune an email offering your services, it will at the very least answer your trivial question, and perhaps assist them in being more responsive to self-entitled headphone enthusiasts who demand instant gratification.

Do you have any other business advice to share with the collective, or will you stop whining about being ignored so the thread can go back to being a decent discussion around some great pieces of equipment?
