Amp recommendations for Audeze LCD-3

I have the WA7+tp and not super happy with the LCD3F.

Any other recommendations? I want something balanced (the WA7 sounds rattled and uncontrolled at higher volumes).

I need it to be punchy and push the headphones where it needs to be.

I wanted the Oppo HA1 or Soloist but I'm not convinced it's a good comb.

hi
I prefered the burson over the oppo, I had the conductor that time and directly compared with the oppo that was pretty new
better then the conductor the soloist with a nice dac, like the hugo or mdac if you have a lower budget
but even the soloist made sound the lcd3f too relaxed and for me a bit boring and not very punchy
the mijior made them sound brighter faster and punchier, but was too bright imho
i liked very much when i connect them to the speaker binding post of my valve amplifier (it has to be a very good one)
i ended up asking to an artisan to built a class A single ended amp that provide around 2 W on the load of the lcd3, according to my request

So I am about to pull the trigger on the lcd3f and have been doing a lot of amps and I am very impressed with the new schiit jotunheim. I was wondering if anyone has made this pair yet? if so what was your impressions?
I want a amp/dac that will pair well with the lcd3f but will have spent most of my budget on the headphones. I'm hoping to find a nice pairing under $700.

. Check this out. This might help you out as It do me.
I was just planning to get the cable+ to hooked up my DAP to my speaker system. I end up with get cables and a nice set of Burson Conductor v2 + LCD3 for 2166$US. If you are going to purchase the LCD 3 anyway, why not.

BTW I am not sure which link below is the right one so. Hope this get you where you need to.

I am looking for an amp to drive my lcd3f 2016 version. For some reasons, I could get auralic taurus mk2 about usd500 cheaper than Violectric V281.

LCD3 is my major headphone. The other I have are RS1000 and some cheaper cans which are less important.

May I have your advise? Or other amp is better choice? I saw someone selling a CMA800r but need to buy another one to run full balanced mode

Has anyone heard the iFi Pro iCAN amp? I bought the LCD-3 as part of a combo deal with that amp. The current plan is to sell the iFi amp and use it to fund a WA6SE, WA22 (used), or some Schitt but if it's a good amp then I'll keep it. Trying to keep it new in box, so I can sell it for more than I would be able if it was used.

Hi, i'm looking to change my Lake People G109 with my lcd3 because i feel the potiential of the Audeze is wasted with the lake people, though i get more than enough volume with it, it's just a tad better hd650 with this amp. I'm sure the lcd3 could do much much better.

Would the cheap emotiva A-100 unleash the beast in your opinion with 8w per channel at 50ohm ?

Thanks!

IMHO, you can do much better than the Emo.... Parasound ZAmp is cleaner low price, small footprint speaker amp.  Schiit Jotunheim acquits itself extremely well with LCD3 ( I have the LCD 3F).  What is your budget?  There are also some very nice DIY options.

Hi friends,

Looking for recommendations for an amp and DAC for my LCD-3F. I have a $1,500 budget for the new gear.

I currently have a Schiit Bifrost DAC and a Lake People G109A amp.

The Oppo HA-1 looks interesting, and it is in my budget range. I was also looking at a Schiit stack of mjolnir2 and gungnir (non-multibit).

What do you guys think?

I have a schiit jotenheim that I run my lcd-3f with fed from an yggy. I would look at upgrading the bifrost to a bimby and adding a jotenheim for the amp. Total cost would be $650. For the same price as a gungnir and mjolnir2 $1700 you could do a multibit gungnir and a jotenheim $1650.

My choice is Ayre 7series and pair up with Amphion argon3s. I had audition the similar combination which is Ayre ax-5(older model) with the Argon3(older models) about 4 years ago. I came home withe the pair of Argon3 that day.
I also have the 685s2. It's actually good one for the asking price. I paired them up with Rotel RA1570. It' lovely.

Hope you find yours soon.

I am in the market for a hybrid amp only.  I currently want to use my Chord Mojo as the DAC and feed it to an external amp using the line out function.  Any recommendation of a hybrid only amp that matches well with the LCD3f?  I don't want to spend over $1500 if possible.  I've been eyeing the Schiit MJOLNIR 2, but like to get input if there are better match other there.  TIA!
