You won't be disappointed with both the amp and the excellent customer service.  As for driving the dt770 80 ohm can, yeah, it should be fine for that.  My previous set of headphones, the m50's smaller brother the m30, were 65 ohms and there was absolutely no problem.

just got the PA2V2 ordered. and i must say, gary's customer service is absolutely amazing. I had some issues with paypal and he was very understanding and helpful. and now the waiting begins...
