Cavalli is very good except it's name and design is what you're mostly paying for. I was just on another thread where an owner of the LG preferred the Headamp GX over it by a mile, and it was cheaper.

Between the LG and Studio 6, I bet more would prefer the 6.

Was my first tube amp too. Except for a Peachtree Nova I had a few years back which had "a tube" but not really a tube amp. Nothing wrong with jumping in the deep end!

Yeah it was my first piece of real hi-fi gear, still think it was a great value.

Funny story, ive been using the yggy balanced out all this while, when i tried the rca outs into the six, i realized that both rca outputs have a channel imbalanced issue, tried it with different cables and amps too. Rip yggy, gotta live with my hugo for a while well this should belong in the yggy thread but you know, just didnt get to hear the six with my main dac, how unfortunate

That sucks, I've been using the Yggy's RCA jacks with my Studio Six for a while now and no issues. Even though I'm sure the balanced output is better i preferred Yggy - RCA - Studio Six over Yggy - XLR - Liquid Gold, So ultimately it's not a big deal using the Yggy's RCA's for me, but I guess you'll need to contact Schiit and have your's repaired.

I preferred it over the Auralic Vega which cost me over $1000 more. And it really wasn't even close TBH

Still dont like them with the abyss/lcd4 but with the utopias they're just so damn incredible. Waiting for my heks to get back from a v2 upgrade so i cant say anything about them just yet

Yep . Stock tubes, still new into the realm of tubes so i gotta do some research before i have the confidence to do some rolling myself
