I'm gonna crawl out on a limb here with my anti-flame suit on and say: "Even at their list price, these puppies ARE a good deal"!

....ok, I'm kinda partial to them.

I put some oak cups on my Ms-1s, im not going to assume any sonic improvments, but since none are needed it works out. Im also gonna be recabling them here soon with SPC.

KG21: Thanks mate

gulkana72: That's say a lot about the value of MS-1

Audiofiler: Yup, my only lament is that they are totally open, so for isolation I am forced to switch over to my trustworthy HJE50

exphy: Without an amp, stock MS-1 will drive just fine, much similar to SR60. And yes that retro All Black look rules! soo Industrial to me eyes

kramer5150: How I wished you have kept you MS-1 and start modding them just like you did with your other cans, that would have been interesting

azncookiecutter: Yup, keep it coming

luidge: You got that right, treble control is amazing on this baby

Zenja:

reivaj: Trully it's a hard to beat bargain if you ask me

FaBoLoUsRmX: You gonna have to start hunting in Head-Fi FS Forum is you plan to get them below $99

F107plus5: Well what can I say mate, your comments on MS-1 helped me a lot in acquiring mine
wink.gif

phergus_25: WE WANT TO SEE your woodied MS-1!!!

wallstreet: Keep Rockin!

VR6ofpain: Ah yes, that's a spectacle isn't it....a Gradoed KOSS LOL!

biged: With MS-1 be wary of the drug called MS-2i......watch out......

After this thread was posted; I was sort thinking of starting an MS2i Fanclub as well!

MS2i is simply "more " of the same great love!

I am very proud to have the MS1 (reversed & coloured 414s). It's so (surprisingly

) good that it has become my main can both for portable and home usage.

If I take a look into the future, I still will have & use my MS1 in 20 years or so. I somewhat doubt that my "redneck" cans K81 and DT770 also will be kept in my possession for decades.

Oh Yeah!

One of the options I was thinking of when I was considering MS2i was also RS-2, AND perhaps having my MS-1 woodied!

I went for MS2i because they sound so much like MS-1s, but the thoughts of getting my MS-1s woodied eventually, just cause they look so darned neat and nifty, is a thought that doesn't want to go away!

They look fabulous! How do they sound? As good as they look?!
