  So far, the pads that fit the K545 are HM5, Shure SRH750, & Sennheiser HD280. I have the HM5 Valor version. while the pad is comfortable I felt the bass has deteriorated. I'm not sure if the leather Thick version is an improvement. Out of all the replaceable Pads, Which one has the best sound quality to the Original / Stock Pads or Better than the Originals. Thanks.

If you find them uncomfortable, HM5 pads are the next best thing, but the pleather version.  Much better than the originals.

I would rather spare my head that treatment and get something like an HD598, Q701 or something similiar that's light and works with velour pads. The K550 works pretty well too because of it's large surface area on the pads.

The same day you put them in the washer will be the same day you cry.
 
Rubbing alcohol wouldn't be a bad idea since it evaporates so fast and it's good if you're letting other people wear them.
 
Most of the time you can get away with just wiping the pads with a cloth whenever you feel like it.

A dry cloth to get one's skin oils off of it, that will help with prolonging their life before disintegrating.

I am quite interested in this, I have the K545 and am looking into the same AMP/DAC combo (for my K712s too); I'll try to remember to give feedback if i end up getting it, but if someone else has experience here it would be much appreciated.

The headband has begun to hurt my head, I added an HD280 headband pad and problem solved!
I squished the stock pad already?  That was quick.  =\
I had to do that to my HD8 DJ from the start already, I hope my M50 isn't next anytime soon.

With this can dipping under $200 new now in the States, it is definitely a no-brainer, it rips up HD380pro, HDH50, DT770, and more in that range.
