I have found out that AKG now makes headphones in PRC(China) and have photoshopped the "Made in Austria" imprints on the pictures of headphones on their website, but the imprint on the K702's are still there, does this mean that the 702's are still made in Austria?

It's possible that they only make the lower end products in china.

But the 271mk2 and 240 mk2's are made in PRC.

It seems the K601 and K701 are also manufactured in China now (prices in Europe have gone down for these two models).
 
The K702 may still be manufactured in Vienna.
