Hey guys,
 
I'm looking to buy sub $100 headphones, preferably closed-ear/around the ear. I've come across the AKG K81DJ, Shure SRH440, and Sennheiser HD280Pro as the more positive-rated ones. Which one would you choose as the best bang for your buck overall? Or is there a better sounding 'phone out there for around that price? I'm not looking for anything too specific in a 'phone, just one where I can enjoy a wide range of music as much as I can at that price range. Thanks.

All three are excellent choices, though I lean more toward the Shures as they have the edge in detail, clarity and overall musical definition.  Plus they work well with almost any genre.
