O.K. clear, but if you dont mind to do extra burn in and report later, would really appreciate this.

This can be a problem, because, often, upgrade cables are thick and will not fit very easy in small connector, so, it may leave you with very limited options, dont you think? The connector is smaller than say from K702 or same?

Do you hear any midbass umph and can you loan K702 or K701 from anyone for direct comparison?

mine are not new and should according to the owner have some 100h.

The cable should be quite easy to replace for anybody with decent soldering skills. The plug is quite tiny small er than HD800 connector.

I don't have the K701 here but from memory I think the new one is even smaller and you ate right a thicker cable will not fit in the plug. Some custom scheme. has to be developed for that.

Maybe you can ask around and get them from someone in your area, just for reference point. I know that this may sound crazy, but I really interested in all aspects, not just that they need to be compared to HD800 or T1, if possible of course.

Do you hear any midbass umph, which I suspect may make  lower end sound more panchy or present. I hear that on HD800 and dont like it. Also, HD800 do have large surround, 3D kind spacey sound, but I feel its more on the artificial side and not on pair with K1000 for example. Have you ever tried / heard K1000?

Man, you don't want to move them from room to room: One for the living, another one for the office, one closed to your bed and another one in the bathroom for those long and boring moments...

And don't FORGET the best Place!the Toilet!:beerchug:

Yo @Nomax, is Sennheiser still coming out with a new flagship this year to answer the K812? Though it looks like the general consensus is that the HD800 is better than the K812.
