I was reading some threads here, and I understand the difference between the AKG K701 and K702 is only the colour and that the latter has a detachable cable. Right?
 
If so, why is the K702 70% more expensive? In Germany at least.

Very odd, in Europe we pay €150 for a detachable cable, and America pays $60 for a fixed cable...

In the USA (Amazon) it's the other way around I see, the K702 is $60 cheaper.

I noticed that too, the price of the K702 also changes when you change the country... (I chose Germany in my example because I think more people understand German than Dutch here )

EBay has the K702 for $249 shipped. I bought mine on Amazon two days ago for $259 shipped. Looks like the price went up.

TTVJ has both listed for $259. I know that he charges for shipping, but is also a reasonable person.

Ok, so it seems some sellers just ask ridiculous prices for them, the phones themselves are almost identical.
