definitely not a K501 unless they re-designed the headband and housing

and probably not a K601 as I believe it doesn't come with the headphone holder/stand

x2 K601 does not have those rounded edges and chromerings either.

you're probably right.


the reason why i got my dt880 was because, a)i want something good b)want to try some new thing(already have k501 and k601) and c)i don't want the toilet bowl white k701

It seems that the looks of K701 is either love or hate, I love it, many times I have seen tham in a shop and though man thoose are beautifull I would really like to have them on my stereo rig. The white together with the brown leatherband does a lot the the clean style of them.

Unlike FHuang, I kinda like the porcelain look, but only in closed quarters and among intimate friends!

Truthfully, I could go for something in gun-metal bluish-gray. : )

I read the anouncement carefully again and would now say they expressed they are relaunching the complete lineup of pro headsets (recording, studio etc...) whilst saying nothing about the headphones that are categorized "personal audio"
