Ahh, well in defense of AKG, a larger plug diameter is needed to fit the 1/4" adaptor!
(Most people might not need the quarter inch type, but these are DJ headphones. Hence, the larger jacket...)
So....why is the plug on the K518 thin and fits any case/bumper? They are DJ headphones too? It would still fit the adapter....
...In the end, my point is that you can't place the blame solely on AKG.
I'm not trying to obnoxious...but...
- It does not take *research* to figure out...already the iPhone 4 and 4S are slim....and that connection has been around for ages.
- Just any other headset or headphone I have seen take this fact for granted: make it slim. It just so .... obvious? Seriously?
- For the K618 (no headset function)... ok, I'll give you that...but for the K619?
- They could not have found a single case that it would fit...it's thicker than the whole phone.
They didn't even look at the phone, let alone research...I think they were just plain stupid. But hey, everyone has their view, it's cool!

Hello everybody,
I going to buy a new headphone after have broke my akg k518dj cable.
I hesitating between two headphone, the ath pro700mk2 and the new akg k618dj. But i'am afraid of the cable reliability.
