Ah, I should learn to read one of these days. You are correct.

I read the entire thread, I didn't mean to drag the thread off topic.

The last time I heard the Lambda vs K340 the I think the K340 had a bit of an edge. Both the K340 and Lambda are now being driven by better amps so it time for a rematch.

I'd put my K340 rig up against any Lambda rig out there.

Though I'm sure there would still be people who preferred the Lambda, it wouldn't be no '24 to 11' split!

So now I voted for "my team" - there you have it!

Reading is fundamental

I want this to be a simple headcount for people that had both and preferred one over the other.

But since nobody offered to let me audition some Stax my decision stands

When I am in Switzerland I will come by with my Stax.

The only semi-nice headphones I've seen were at Guitar Center and they're all closed. Sad times.

I'm in Dallas and was dismayed to learn that I'm in the same boat. Not a high-end heapdhone store to be found.

I would really love to try some STAXes or a K340 before I buy some, but will just have to wait for a meet. Thank goodness there are meets!
