Hey there,

I would like to ask you guys about this setup im planning to buy:

  1. Beyerdynamic DT990 PRO:
http://europe.beyerdynamic.com/shop/hah/headphones-and-headsets/studio-and-stage/studio-headphones/dt-990-pro.html
  1.  Audiotrak Prodigy CUBE
http://www.audiotrack.net/products/PDCUBE/

What do you think about those two?
Im planning to use it mostly for games, movies and some music. I have to use external music card, since I dont have free slots on mobo.

Cheers,

The Prodigy Cube is awful. There are plenty of manufacturers that make decent USB DAC/amps that would be far preferable over it.

What's your budget for the DAC/amp (sound card)?

HRT Music Streamer II is a good dac for that price.

The DT990 Pro is pretty lame, I'm a big fan of the premium.  if you're still interested, check this out. This site does group buys on request. Right now they are running one for the beyer DT990s, all impedances are included. Lowest price I've ever seen from any actual store.

You've gotta make an account because of some shenanigans agreement with manufactueres but other than that its not too bad.
