Congrats 10 years and 1266 TC the best headphone for Metal ever! Today is also my birthday.
And great 10 years so when I have next driver problem i get it repair for free @Abyss Headphones and not must pay for it to replace.

"Abyss Headphones are designed and built in the USA to a very high standard of quality. Abyss Headphones warrants your new headphone set to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase from an authorized dealer or agent of Abyss Headphones. This is the Standard Warranty.

(Headphones purchased brand new prior to April 2023 carry a one (1) year Standard Warranty, per our warranty agreement of that time.)

If purchased from April 2023 and on, brand new, never used, factory sealed, current stock purchased directly from ABYSS Headphones or an authorized Abyss Headphone agent within your country or region; as an original owner you are eligible to apply for a Private Ten (10) year Extended Warranty by registering online on the Abyss-Headphones.com Product Registration page."

Why isn't it transferrable..does no good for most people who don't have over 3000 as paying used you are out of luck, warranty could be for 25 years as it would not matter--if you don't have 3500 to buy brand new--does no good

This seems unfair to TC owners who purchased brand new from Abyss in the last couple years. Why not extend the 10 year warranty to such instances, and just have it run from the date of purchase?

"...eligible to apply...". So, the 10 year non-transferable warranty isn't even a guaranteed thing, but a warranty application that could be turned down, is what it sounds like. Why must one have to apply, and not automatically be awarded the warranty?

Well that's a game-changer, I would never pay 4 figures for a phone with a few years warranty myself(Audeze dead drivers overnight come to mind) but 10 years, now we're talking about ROI indeed
