HE150 Pro. Best quantity subbass and midbass I've heard in a bud. Though it is V shaped, so mids are rather recessed, and upper mids/treble can be occasionally harsh/sibilant. So it actually sounds more like a traditional IEM than the usual midcentric buds.

RY4S plus also has quite good subbass/midbass thump, but the bass quality is boomy and has midbass bleed. But is is cheaper than HE150 Pro.

thank you. HE150 Pro is 150 ohm. is there any problem driving with phone output?

Ya it doesn't sound good on a low powered smartphones. I'm not sure if the LGV series (some have high impedance mode) can drive it, but I have to amp it to scale better. There's some good and cheap USB dongle DAC/AMP which I use like the Tempotec Sonata HD Pro, it makes a humble smart phone sound very close to my desktop setup, and it can drive the HE150 Pro. But I would suggest u skip it if u are just using a normal smartphone without dongle.

RY4S 300 ohm is more balanced, less subbass/midbass than HE150 Pro. But the RY4S 300 ohm's bass quality is faster with better texturing and accuracy.
The HE150 Pro also has a bit of harsh upper mids/lower treble compared to the RY4S 300 ohm. Mids are more depressed on the HE150 Pro.
Both require amping to sound good.

If u are a basshead, get HE150 Pro. The RY4S 300 ohm is actually not basslite for a bud, but it is a more balanced tonality.

thank you, appreciate for your detailed answer. I'm not basshead but nicehck b40 and toneking tp16 bass/mid bass not enough for me. texturing and accuracy more important than quantity for me . i have shanling u2. i know that about driving shanling u2 worse than shanling u4 for 300 ohm earphones. shanling u2 barely drive 300 ohm earphone. so i cant decide. i scare that i cant use full of ry4s potential with shanling u2. is driving difficulties he150 pro easier than ry4s 300? if it is easier driving than ry4s 300 ohm, i will buy he150 pro.

I find the RY4S 300 ohm is suprisingly slightly easier to drive than the HE150 Pro (despite the impedance specs).

I actually like the RY4S 300 ohm much more than the HE150 Pro. RY4S 300 ohm is cheaper too and can come in detachable MMCX connectors too, with more balanced tuning (less harsh frequencies than HE150 Pro). If u are getting them, let us know how they turn out! There's an upcoming big Summer Aliexpress sale around the 18/06/20 period, so if u wait a bit, u may get a better price.

Look what I found from 2016. Was unused in one of my forgotten storage boxes!
Simpler times, when cheapo earbuds were, generally, Monk, TY or this (I'd probably missed a few).
Going to run it for a few days then give it a try. It will never be as good as I remembered; few things are.
(Sorry for the lame brand obfuscation)

Asian "Philips" SHE3800. If those drivers from 2016 are there, then you are lucky. Now other drivers are not so good there.
