I actually never tried it until today. Having the Calyx M linked to 2 different external amps, I have connected the 3.5mm-to-3.5mm bridge to this Calyx jack. From one amp, noise floor is very slighlty reduced with sensitive IEMs. Otherwise, no change compared with the 3.5mm HO from the Calyx. Is anyone try to open calyx’ s jack
I had some noise with bass and now with this jack noting
Thanks for having brought that to us

After research It’s an adaptator 4poles (Mâle) to 3poles (female)I actually never tried it until today. It should be that, I guess. Cannot be 3.5mm balanced, for obvious reasons. Anyway, if you are happy with it, that's what countsDon’t Know more ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, @zooey, how is the xCan amp with Calyx M?
First of all, I'm not an expert and my English is also pretty bad . Anyway ..
Originally I bought Calyx M to use it with Hifiman Edition X V2, and they sounded great togheter
Then the right channel of my HEX suddenly died .... and I decided to buy Hifiman Arya
Calyx M doesn't have enough power to drive Arya, but I still wanted to use it, because I love how it sounds
So I bought iFi xCAN and a balanced cable from Meze.
To cut the story short, xCAN has a very flat frequency response (unless you use XBass or 3D+ features)
It doesn't change the sound signature of Calyx M, it just makes it sound louder
Now I have a good pairing with Arya, and I'm satisfied

Gentleman, the DSD life is taking its toll and I'm wondering if the Calyx will suport an SD card of 256GB and a micro SD card of 128GB at the same time without issues? Anyone has experience with this?
Additionally, do you guys think there will be any issues with having two 256GB cards at the same time? Cause I just tested it and it reads the 256GB card just fine on the micro SD slot...

choice #1 is my exact config and I haven't experienced any issues.
The Calyx M is a little old now. Do you know any other devices (daps/dacs) with a smilar signature of the Calyx sound?

Old? False start my friend. We are fanboys here and you will be hunted for your words!!!The Calyx M is a little old now. Do you know any other devices (daps/dacs) with a smilar signature of the Calyx sound?
Joking (almost)
Well, my question : why not buying a Calyx M? What's not convenient with it ? What do you need as features ? What drivers are you gonna use?
