I found some headphones at Big Lots yesterday that strongly resemble those old mesh grilled audio technicas. But instead of an audio technica badge there was an accura badge. It was so flimsy it almost feel right off but man these things sound good. They beat my Sennheiser HD202's by far. I might do more critical listening on these soon and pics will be up soon but my internet connection is lagging so im not gonna upload em now.

I haven't been to one in years, but I never would have suspected you could find great headphones there. Still, it's possible that there was a great pair of headphones by some no-name company that fell under the radar. Big Lots sells old overstock.

I'm not sure how good/bad the HD202's are. How do they compare with the 75's at least?

Umm with the right mods the KSC75's sound better but both stock there about even I would say. Stock I would still lean a little bit more to the Koss cause there portable.

C'mon Kramer you said you wanted to see pics lol. Well here they are. And yeah I would also like to know from any hard-core audio technica fans wich ones they most resemble cause I want to know what I might be dealing with here. Also the cord is not cheap looking its a gold plated 3mm cord but covered in something. I think you can see the cord in one of the pics. And after burn in I think these might beat my MS1's. So head over to your local Big Lots and see if they have them there. Pretty soon ill be painting the grills black.
