i-77 Pro owner checking in, got this with an initial thought to be BL-03 upgrade. After some research mentioned that this is the set to go for if you looking for natural timbre and neutral sound. And boy it delivers, at least to me.
It's steps above in detail, separation and technicality and timbre is natural as you can get, high's got great extension without being sharp/harsh. Mids sound natural without any weird hump. Bass goes real low and thumps, especially sub-bass - real basshead's delight if you're one, without bleeding to midrage. Soundstage is average with great depth. Instruments layering is neat, it goes more vertical instead of horizontal. Fit is really comfortable and seal is top notch, as this is resin, thus more friendly to skin. Definitely a keeper.

My i99 is scheduled to arrive on Friday, so I hope to have some initial impressions this weekend ...

I’ve been burning in the i99 since I got it with some listening sessions; the bass is a bit better controlled with this playtime, and once I get 100 hours on it, I’ll post some preliminary comments on the sound as I hear it.

I ordered the Black version which looks to have a textured finish on Linsoul’s website, but I believe I was shipped the shiny version:

I emailed Linsoul about this and included these pictures, so I’ll wait to see what they have to say. I’m using my iPhone SE connected to an iFi nano iDSD Black Label for burn-in since the i99 uses a dynamic driver. Once I get a hundred hours, I’ll use my AK240SS loaded with hi-res files for further evaluation.

The build quality is exceptional, and this comes from someone who is very picky about fit and finish. The silver OFC cable is nice and very flexible with MMCX connectors.

I believe I’m going to be quite happy with the sound. The only other IEM I own that has pronounced bass is the JVC HA-FW01, but the i99 appears to be much more refined sounding, especially in the trebles. More to follow ...

The box that BGGAR referred to as his stash box in his YouTube review has blemishes, but I used some Old English scratch remover to hide most of the more obvious ones. Still, a nice storage case for all my IEMs.

I have over 100 hours of play on my i99, and I really like it, a lot. The tuning is far from neutral, but I knew that going in, I had been looking for an IEM with enhanced bass performance and was considering the Polaris II.

I will say the burn-in tightened up the low end noticeably, better detail, less murkiness. I’ll post more about the i99 sound soon.

When I received my black pair, I immediately noticed that they didn’t have the textured appearance as the example on Linsoul’s site, so I contacted customer service. After a few emails back and forth with them checking with the 7Hz guys, the black version being shipped will look like this:
