$40 IEM Battle Royale (RHA MA-350 Added 3-1-13)

Hey zero, how is the bass & vocals on the Vsonic GR02 BE compared to the Soundmagic E10's? I am currently using the Soundmagic E10's & they are the best IEM's I've owned so far but I guess I wanted a little more bass in them, I listen to a lot of Trance,House & Hardstyle so bass is pretty important to me but at the same time I want heavenly vocals.

I bought the VSonic GR02 BASS 5 days ago (currently on their way) from lendmeurears on eBay, I read somewhere in a thread you bought yours from them as well, did you get the rectangular L shaped jack with the Logo or the slightly angled one without the logo? Cheers for any help really appreciate it.

The bass on the GR02s is deeper, punchier and does a bit more in the sub bass. Not a lot more mind you but just more in each area and better quality. The highs and vocals are just more detailed and clear in my opinion. I like the crispness of the sound. I ordered another set for my son as he was using the E10s but like my GR02 BEs better as well, just got them yesterday, took 5 days from lendurears. And yes they are the square L jack with the logo although I have not looked at the new set I just got. Enjoy you will love them.

Hey there from my other thread.... I also purchased some GR02 BEs from Lendmeurears, and Imagine that they will sound like magical waterfalls poring sweet sounds into my ears. Compared to my usual dollar store IEMs.

CAN YOU HELP ME (Zerocoolhifi)?
You said it took lendmeurears 5 days. (Do you live in the U.S. ?)
I live in the U.S. and ordered 2/13/2013 and my account was debited the same day however its 2/16/2013 and it has not been marked as shipped (Im guessing the time difference, and the fact that I ordered close the the weekend. Or he just doesn't mark it as shipped.)

I trust this guy, but I feel like a dog waiting for his bone! :)

Yep I am in the US, ordered on 2/11 and got them on 2/15 but I didn't get the shipped email until 2/14 (then got them the next day) and actually ship from their US distribution center that is in Indiana. I would say you will have yours by Monday or Tuesday.

Wow! Thanks for the good news, if these are better than the E10's I think I'm done searching for an IEM in the $35 range. What do you think about the soundstage on the Vsonic gr02 bass compared to the Soundmagic E10's?

E10 is a little wider but that's because non of the GR02 BE sounds are more in your face.

Did your Vsonic Gr02's get significantly better or slightly better with burn-in? If so how many hours do you recommend to burn them in for?

Also did yours come with a ton of tips & are they any good?

I didn't really burn them in just listened to them and did not notice a huge difference in sound sig after some hours on them so not sure how much burning these in will change them. The tips are great and I end up using e blue ones on all my vsonics

Try adding the Gr04 Flagship to the mix! With the coupone LMUECUST, you get 15% off at lendmeurears. That brings down the cost to S$55.25, or US$44.65.

I just bought a set and it sound great after burning in for about 30+ hours. Started out kind of crap, but improved significantly with some burn in. Wound up having to get my sister a pair too, the order is processing now.

Would be fun to throw that in and compare it with the GR02 Bass.

Come on I just got the vc02, but I will add that one in there as soon as I get the nerve to buy another pair.

So, apparently the GR02s are pretty dang great for bass IEMs.
I have $50 on amazon, and these are the only ones I see:

http://www.amazon.com/VSONIC-GR02-Balanced-Noise-Isolating-Headphones/dp/B009PP2MCA/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1361118633&sr=1-2&keywords=gr02

So one doesn't even have a picture, and it says "Balanced Edition" instead of Bass Edition....does Balanced Edition even exist?
The second one says it's the "Pro" version.

Are either of those even real?

Had to say, but the first one without even a picture I would say no but the second one the picture of the box actually looks correct (if the picture was clearer I could tell for sure but even then the picture may not be what you are getting). If I were you I would save my amazon gift card for something else and get the GR02 BE on eBay from lendurears for $36.

Anyone here want to throw the infamous Monoprice 8320 into this mix of opinions. (specifically compared to GR02 BE, and E10/E30)

I was going to buy some, but I kept feeling some kind of dark force hovering around the purchase button that kept my fingers at bay... So I spent ~$30 more dollars.
But could I be satisfied with the Monoprice or would it have to be vsonic in the long run?

Mono price just does not measure up, great highs and detail but the low end and mids is just not up to snuff. Plus the build quality I was never able to get a good enough seal for more than a few seconds so I used the cables to recable my MH1c.
