Anyone has a detailed comparison between the vc02 and gr02 be?

they have different sounds
GR02 BE have a good, massive bass reproduction comparing to VC02 which have less amount of bass, but amazing in detail and instrument separation. and VC02 use detachable cord that match with old UE cable pins (TF10, SF5, etc) and westone pins (which slightly bigger pins, but acceptable). so maybe, VC02 still have some improvement with using custom cable.

I prefer the VC02 over the GR02 BE, because the VC02's has less sub bass and is closer to the signature that I'm comfortable with. The GR02 BE would be more appealing to someone who wants more bass. Both are good, it just comes down to personal preference.

If you want a good IEM that has plenty of treble, then consider the JVC HA-FX40. For some the treble is too much. For me the treble is good except with recordings that already have plenty of treble.

VC02's Great Build / Features (Removable / Replaceable Cables / Polarity Reversal [this changes the sound sig from a little dark to a little bright]) / Better than RE0, MH1C, GR06, HS Popo, A151 (in my opinion and music taste) / I haven't tried brainwavz dual dynamics yet and jvc's (that might give a fight) / You'll think that its an armature based iem but its the wonder of 3mm dynamic driver, somebody said in our local forum that it sounded like a Single BA on STERIODS / It made me forget all about my other budget iems. I might be biased fan over here but VC02's sounded really amazing to my ears, best buy under $100 period.

I have both and they compliment each other very nicely, with the GR02's being more bassy.

I have the GR02 and I think it's really great for its price. ($35 on ebay free shipping) 
It's a warm sounding earphone and has a nice sub bass, but the mid bass can sometimes overshadow the mids a little. 
The highs can be sibilant every now and then but it doesn't bother me all that much.
But for $35 is think it's a great purchase. 
Honestly I doubt anyone will be disappointed by the GR02 given that it's only $35.
As for VC02..... i can't say much since i haven't heard it

The Soundmagic E30 is great (if you don't need any noise isolation) and the current pair in my gym bag are the Brainwavz R1 which have grown on me a lot over the last two weeks.  You can get the latter for $30 on sale which makes it a good deal.

If you like large stage then Visang VS-K1 is a better choice IMO. I owned VC02 and old Visang VS-R02. VS-R02 has much more depth than VC02 and manages instrumental separation much better. I personally prefer R02 over VC02.

I have not tried the R1 but bass is not the only plus for the GR02 BE, it has great punch, detailed and crisp highs as well, just a very fun IEM.

I have the gr02's BE for a while now, and I really love them! They sound so good. Puts a smile on my face if the kick kicks in! ( I listen to hardstyle) it really have good punchy bass, but the highs and mids are still very good present. so good bass that doesn't sacrifice the beautiful mids and highs!

Best €28 spend for me!
