Dang...... I thought it was what it states in the options list. The free one which you picked, is also the one I picked, but it says 15 - 28 days. But now I see that it says estimate.....

It's "15 - 28 business days" and that is only an "Estimated Shipping Time". I have had stuff take up to 6 weeks personally.

Hi,

George do you know why my order WW1711220323462755 is taking so long? It's already been 18 days since I placed the order and yet my the progress on the delivery has yet to reach "product dispatch." I know it can take up to 28 days, but I am just worried I got duped.

Your package was sent out of warehouse at 2017-11-23 11:26:23, the shipping tracking system did not update with instant info, when updated, your package is just come to your local place.

I keep note about your order number and tracking code, I am keeping eyes on the tracking.

No problem - I own all 3 versions, but currently I'm using the more expensive metal one right now as I type this. That one is my favorite out of the bunch.

I like the TF card function of that one. Just throw random music you like on the card, and push play. No need for bluetooth at all. Of course you have to use the buttons to control it (back, forward, volume, play/pause).

I've also used the AUX wired input also, which has the best sound and saves battery life on the device and my phone (which I forgot to earlier mention the AUX port on the more expensive metal one).

Finally, the more expensive metal one has a silicone cover available on Aliexpress for only a few dollars. Fits great and provides nice protection from bumps, scratches, and some extra weather/dust/dirt protection (as the buttons are covered by the skin, but not the charge/aux/microsd ports). The thing is built like a tank though, so the silicone skin isn't required but for a few dollars it's certainly nice to have.

Thanks for breaking it down so well. I like how the white version looks (and the price too), is it a lot softer than the metal? And it only comes with bluetooth connectivity compared to bluetooth / AUX / TF for the metal?

Well, we are talking about paying absolutely nothing to ship an item half way around the world. I'm not a very patient guy, but I am absolutely loving the sound of the earphones I got, now that I have them in hand.

They do charge for free shipping but less than priority atleast to my country can't say about others. Sometimes free shipping is as much as 30% of the cost like KZ tips $0.99+0.30 for free shipping. And I have never received anything that I have ordered from GB via free shipping on the other hand paying more than this for such cheap item is meaningless.

Sure, no problem.

I wouldn't hit someone in the head with any of them that's for sure - they're all solid and well built (like everything Xiaomi). But the 4.2 white one is an aluminum frame around the outside edge and plastic covers on the front and back, whereas the "metal" one is full aluminum body except small plastic panels on R and L side.

The silicone skin cover for the metal one gives the "softest" feel to any of them though.

You really can't go wrong with either IMO. The new white one is 1/3 less cost. So if you want a good quality speaker that sounds great and has the maximum battery life (10 hrs), get the white 4.2 one. If you want sdcard playing, slightly deeper bass, and an indestructible build that could survive a car crash, get the metal one (8 hr battery life). Both are excellent choices (I wouldn't recommend the original BT 4.0 white one though; the bluetooth on it can be problematic at times).

I personally think Xiaomi is phasing out the metal one, because they took the best features of the metal one, and incorporated it as improvements to the original white one (ending up with the 4.2 white one). Why have 2 similar competing models, when you can just have 1 nice one? The metal one is just redundant at that point. Honestly, if they had included the microsd card slot in the 4.2 white one, I wouldn't even had bought the metal one.

And it only comes with bluetooth connectivity compared to bluetooth / AUX / TF for the metal?

The new "white" BT 4.2 one does come with AUX (sorry I didn't clarify that earlier), but no microsd slot.

Also, be aware that the language on all of them is in Chinese (the manual and spoken announcements). So instead of hearing "pairing", "low battery", etc all you'll hear is some lady speaking in jibberish unless you speak Chinese. The functionality and operation is very intuitive though, so the language doesn't matter.

If you get one and have any questions about how to do this or that, just lemme know and I'll get you squared away.

I wasn't aware that there was a fee for 'free' shipping in some locations. Interesting.

I have received all of my orders in good time. And I am in Canada, AE takes far longer for me.
