$14.00 for a Superlux HD681 is a pretty stellar deal, I might have to attempt to get a set. I already have some HD668B on the way, it would be fun to compare the two, since I have been reading about them both for about 4 years now....
....if I can do the space/time equation on the coupon. I think if my calculations are correct this will be active as of midnight tomorrow here in California....

$14 is a really good deal.

Are you cool with it having a 9ft non-detachable cable? That's almost long enough to plug into your stereo and then go drive around the block while wearing the headphones LOL

BTW, I use my phone's "World Clock" function. Makes it really easy to see what time it is in Beijing.

I'm aware of the cable...and I can see my soldering iron from where I am sitting right now, and perhaps I will introduce the two at some point....
or maybe I just mod them to make the backs more open and they are my headphones for watching movies ...or give them away as a gift or....
For $14.00 it's worth it to me just to be able to hear them in an effort to further deepen my understanding of headphones. The 668B/681 are both referenced quite frequently when people start comparing headphones, I like having first hand knowledge of what people are talking about...I mean, I got an Akai 50x ($18) just so I could hear what Pharmaboy and others were talking about
EDIT: I also have a set of vintage Pioneers looking for a new cable, and possibly some drivers, so maybe the Superluxes get cannibalized and made into some Pioneluxes or Superneers , the possibilities are myriad.
