Just depends on what you want.

The KZ cable can only be used with a few models of IEM. It is susceptible to EMI/RF interference, which can be corrected with a mod. But it is small.

The Xiaomi adapter can be used with any headphone or earphone. It has typical Xiaomi build quality, and a longer battery life.

Both are Bluetooth 4.2, and both have built in mics.

Pretty sure the ATE does not have a removable cable so you'd need something like the Xiaomi Bluetooth adapter George had on this thread earlier today or yesterday.

ATE has fixed cables.

Only KZ with 2-pin removable cables (and thus can use the KZ bluetooth cable) are ZS3, ZST, ES3, ZS5, ZS6, ED12, and (soon to be) ZSR.

Although you could mod the ATE - take it apart, desolder fixed cable, and directly solder the bluetooth module on. You could also mod it to accept an MMCX jack.
