Well. They have arrived. Build quality is absolute immense. Sound quality...well I am slightly underwhelmed. They sound boxy with very little high end detail.
Deadmau5 album soundsvert dull and 1 dimensional compared to fidelio x2. I am rather disappointed. It sounds as if the ceramic tweeter is not working. Would this improve with burn in?

It will certainly open them up, but I did not find them dull at first listen. They are closed as opposed to open though

I have a pair of Sony MDRA-1 closed.
They sound better at the top end although too thick at the lower

I have a pair of them as well, I don't like the fact I cannot wear them outside due to the wind noise and that the bass is overcooked. The comfort though.....

Yeah they are comfy. I find these 1more just sound a bit odd. Not transparent enough. Nirvana sounds reserved where as it should sound trashy..
In my opinion obviously

I've ran them all day yesterday and overnight. I can't say as they sound any better unfortunately. Really rather gutted.
Going to send them back and stick with fidelio x2.

Does that bass reflex driver move when its on?
Looking closely at the breakdown of the 3 drivers, i still don't understand why it points out of the open frame. Does the bass bounce back into the back of the other driver magnet where there is a hole? Or it acts as some sort of dampening for the backwaves. Looks cool , but strange.
