Much appreciated! Though at this point, until there are more reviews specific to the A3 customs, I think I've gone about as far as I can go short of hearing them for myself. I'll likely make the purchase soon and pray :p

I don't have a specific use case like you but I was heavily debating between the V6-S and the A3. I ended up going with the A3 after reading all the reviews plus what the '64 Audio people said. I've been waiting a couple weeks now! There's currently a 15% off code floating around that appears to work with the the A-series! I think you can use this code: GEARTALK15 found here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10204932142253052&set=gm.1031703333521002&type=1&theater

The 1964 site won't load for me. Hope it's not an issue, and instead they are adding new awesome stuff!

Flooded with the facebook giveaway maybe...

Many thanks to the happy few that received their Adel monitors and commented about them.

Please keep first impressions coming, feedback is particularly welcome BEFORE the end of september (and the end of the minus 15%) ^^

Edit : website back online, managed to post my design on FB, yay !

Would love to hear some thoughts on the U/A10 versus Angie or UERM if anyone can accommodate. Considering the U10 but would like more data points before pulling the trigger. Really wanting something that's as much a neutral reference as it can be. UERM is my benchmark and Angie is a midcentric, laid back take on a neutral sig for me.

+1. A neutral ciem with ADEL sounds pretty endgame to me...

Short question: I have seen shippig date 30th of October for the U12 (on 1964ears.com) is this date fixed and safe? Is there any way in Germany to order from a 1964 ears reseller located in Germany, or is it a blind buy + import from the web shop? Big thanks in advance.

If anyone is wondering if your U10 or U12 is shipping this week like 1964 said a couple of weeks ago, they are not. I spoke with them today and was told some color matching issues on the red have delayed these models 1-2 more weeks. I hope that'll be all as I was starting to get pretty excited to get mine.

Is that only for the red then, or are the black delayed too?

you might want to talk to Hörakustik Schmutzler in Berlin. Last time I talked to them they were about to get an A12 demo. that was two months ago. dont know if they take orders for the U12 aswell.

So, my u8's arrived earlier. A random assortment of photos below... Really do need some different tips for these, apart from the SpinFits, anyone else know what would fit the 5mm nozzle? Is there a tip guide somewhere on Head-Fi that lists different tips and their diameters?

How do the universals feel in your ears. I'm used to Shure Scl5s and am wondering if they'll be any more or less comfortable.

I was also struggling with the tips and was even getting some pain when trying to insert them deep. I'm mainly using the silicon tips now, as I like how convenient they are to remove. I also ordered the spinfits, but I second that if someone finds other good tips to let us know.
