1964 Ears Adel IEMs

Has anyone got U2s yet? I'm a worship leader who has been using Shure Scl5s for awhile. As much as I want custom iems, I also have hearing loss in my left ear and my budget is only about 400. Will the U2s give me about the same quality as the Shures? Thanks for any help!

I once owned the SE535s which I think are the newer version to what you have, but couldn't compare them to the U2s, as I've never heard them. However, compared to my U8s, they are not even on the same level. I'm also a monitor engineer and if your budget would allow, I always recommend at least a three driver for singers. I came across a 15% discount for 1964 only through September it seems. I haven't tried it myself, but below is the link. If it works, you could go for the U3s for only a few more $$. Other than that, I would call 1964 and see what they recommend based on what you like.

I'm hoping I can find some good tips for my U8s. Otherwise, I would prefer to pay $400 to make these custom fitted. I know it's a rediculous price for a reshell, but for the fit I would be willing to do it, as I'm not liking the included tips with the U-series.

But that's the thing, I don't think it's even possible. Even if you were willing to pay $400, it doesn't sound like they'll do it. But if you discover otherwise, let us know. I would've preferred customs too, but the A6 wasn't available during the original Kickstarter, and the upgrade price from a U6 to an A6 was the price I already paid for the U6!

Yeah, I don't think they will. @BobFiggins was talking to them, and I think they told him that they wouldn't reshell a universal to a custom under any circumstances... (not 100% sure about that though...)

Anyone tried the above link? I am getting canal impressions Tuesday and planning to order A6's later this week.  it'd be amazing to save some money as these are already a budget stretch, although I fully expect (hope?) them to be worth it.
