Hello Head-Fi, my name is Alex and I’m the customer support rep from 64 Audio. Seeing as Steve Keeley (@CanyonRunner) is now working for Asius full time and is not employed by 64 Audio anymore, we have setup this account to answer any questions and provide support for our products. Please let me know how I can help you.

Hi Alex/64Audio, thanks for such wonderful products in A series and U series and the excellent customer service. Keep up the good work!!!

We're looking at MAMs being shipped next Friday. We're just waiting for the new colored O-rings to show up from the supplier, in the first half of next week. After that point, there shouldn't be much waiting required. The original shipment of the O-rings was on a flight that had some issue (mechanical failure or something). The order wasn't salvageable and they had to remake it. It was really random.

Awesome! Thanks for the information.

Welcome Alex,

Glad to see 64 Audio having a greater presence here on HF, and thanks for the great service you've provided me over the last couple years!

I was just about to ask about shipping times. Thanks for letting us know. Been looking forward to these MAMs for too long :)

Welcome to the forum, Alex. I do have a question actually.

After only oowning my U8 a few months, I recently managed to break the dehumidifier that came with them. I was going to wait until the MAMs were available before purchasing, but didn't realise that the MAMs would be released via Asius site until recently. It may be bit cheeky, but is there any way that the dehumidifier can be replaced under warranty? I would just purchase from your site, but $4 then over $30 for shipping to UK for such a small item just doesn't make financial sense for me.

I sent an email to customer support about this on Monday, but I have not had a reply yet. Please would you be able to help?

Thanks @linux4ever, @ericr, @Dizzle77, glad to be in the mix.

@Dizzle77 I would agree, shipping with tracking is expensive to the UK. I checked with our dealers in the UK and one sells the accessories as well http://www.offslip.co.uk/#!accessories-64-audio-uk/n1ia3. I expect the shipping to be a lot more affordable in that case.

@scottcocoabeach In regards to MAMs purchasing I currently don't have details on this. I'll check on this and will let you know early next week.

We found the scanning of shells to be problematic due to the transparency of the material. The technology is evolving quickly so that may be an option in the future.

Backers of the original campaign received both the S1 and MAM. Not sure what rate you are referring to.

Referring to this update on Kickstarter:
The Ambient and Control backers will not be receiving MAMs but will have the opportunity to purchase them at a special Kickstarter price after the MAMs are delivered to the A-Series and original U-series backers. We project that we will complete all of the MAMs shipments by middle of June.

Ooh ... not sure about the Ambient and Control backers. I kept thinking of A and U series backers.

I also ordered some accessories from Dan. He was a pleasure to deal with. Excellent communication. He's a good asset to the 64 Audio team.
Would be nice if the MAM's are available through him for us Europeans.

Yes he seems like a good chap. He emailed me soon after placing order to let me know when I can expect to receive it. Looking like I should have my MAMs and dehumidifier by the end of the month (hopefully)

  Hi Guys!

I purchased some U8's yesterday, and I'm excited to get them.  I had some trouble with a Canadian retailer of Westone W50's, which were my first choice, but that is solved now.  Anyways, I'm looking for max. isolation, and minimal leakage of sound with the U8's.  Which ADEL modules would acheive this for me?  I'm new to the ADEL tech, and I've read through some of these pages, but not all.  I'd like the above, and if it increases bass, that's fine, I'm a basshead anyways, if you couldn't figure out by me buying the U8's.

Your help is appreciated.

Sound leakage isn't going to be noticeable by anyone, using any module.
