Yay, completed a few more scholarship applications and another college application, now all I need to do is write 4 essays to get them all done.

Boy, I remembered doing those scholarship and college applications...

Did you apply to any UC's? :D I would like to see a fellow Head-Fi'er around UCIrvine campus. :p

Yeah, but I can pretty much write one or two and tweak them to fit all the applications...

Yay, as a reward for doing all this schiit, I've been given permission to order the first part for my new computer... Should I go with the ducky mechanical keyboard or a new 1080p monitor? :p

I thought about it, but the application deadlines were pretty soon, and the average scores were just a bit higher than what I achieved.

New monitor, preferably a Dell U2312M or one of the LGIPS23** panels in the budget catagory. IPS or VA ftw.

^agreed. New monitor. A mechanical keyboard with Cherry keys imho is for I guess performance gaming? A luxury rather than a starting need.
