Hmm... do you have a complete logic diagram of your calc?

kininaru~

Because it's such a PITA to draw, here's one for 4-bit input with two stages (6-bit output)

All the relays in the first stage are switched by C1, and all the relays in the second stage are switched by C2.
If C1, and C2 are high, and I = 1 0 1 0, then Q = 1 0 1 0 0 0

This design would be super expensive in real life, but in minecraft relays can be made small and cheaply. In fact, I build this design by using twice as much relays as shown here. As well as about 5 diodes per input per stage. This is because it saved a crapload of space (although it does introduce extra delay).

Wow, that's pretty amazing.
What's SCSI? Isn't that just JIS-Shift?

Basically the computer alphabet so ASCII art is basically art using computer characters

I mean the whole calc. (nevermind if it's all in your brain)
but damn... that's quite impressive, If I were to make a calculator with discrete logic that behaves like one of those cheap casio calculators (+ - * / only) it would probably end up being the size of a computer motherboard, maybe even bigger.

IRL there are solid-state "relays" which are quite cheap.
It's called an analog switch.

Aren't there D-Flip Flops in Minecraft?

You typed SCSI dakedo...... (I know ASCII)

and btw, that's not ASCII but JIS-Shift
ASCII does not support japanese characters.

In minecraft it will be multiple hectares in size.
I have a diagram of the whole calculator somewhere, but it's not definite yet.

Yes there are D-Flip Flops, but the problem is that I'd need a Parallel in/out design, and I couldn't quickly imagine how to do that with D-Flip flops.
Serial in is possible, but it's a really big PITA to do in minecraft, since a Parellel to serial converter is really big.
