On top of the avatar confusion we have people talking about themselves in the third person.  Ugh.  I looked at that post for a whole minute trying to figure out who posted it and what it meant ~_~

LOL I assumed haiby was using bowei's account.

Can I request some AKGs? :p

No can do. I sent my q701s back a while ago... So now I'm rocking the HD600s, which is why my avatar will have them in it...

b1o, make sure the PCBs are in green, the way it should, and always should be.

Sure, it's the default color anyway.

Speaking of which, I just finished the silkscreen printing layer of my PCBs

We talked about project h today. He wants black. But I dont really care

He doesnt mind and is ok with the cs4398 dac

And so that leaves a good chunk for aesthetics whoch haiburi likes

If we say building the O2 and work costs is $50-$60 with a $30 dac unit and other work and pcb and custom case costs. This does leave quite a bit for nice aesthetics

$60 for the DAC and interface part and another $50 for the amp plus whatever you want for workman costs. and that leaves a fair amount for a custom case especially from HK :)

@Borisu
I'm figuring out what parts to order for my next and hopefully final B22 repair attempt.

I want to get the parts for the power switch as well this time. Problem is that I can't find a transformer that will step down 230V to 12V.

I have found a transformer that will step down 115V to 48V, which would mean 12.5V with a 30V primary. Would that be good enough to drive the e24 circuit?
If this is not good enough, then I'll just have to build in a second power receptacle.

New Anime!

Inu x Boku SS OVA
Tonaru no Kaibutsi-kun 01

I was thinking of watching that OVA for a sec, but I decided not to since Inu x Boku SS was really boring.
