I can't tell anything to anyone other than Jude & I are the only people outside of the factory personnel that have heard them and they are just incredible. I can tell you they are efficient and don't require big power to get them pumping out the audio

Don't you worrie too much. This event will also have a live feed on FB and we'll also do a customer reaction/opinion live feed. Our first live feed was more about WHAT we are doing and WHY we are doing it. It's mostly about you, the consumer and yes I own The Source AV Design Group. So it's also about promoting our facilities. One thing I've learned to date is we are the friendliest, largest showroom with the widest range of personal/portable audio on display for seekers to audition. Too bad you can't come but pay attention we'll announce the live feed times with the link so those that miss it live can catch it on our posts.

While I am nowhere near your store, I just have to say thanks for keeping stores like yours out there.

I have been considering retiring and looking for that 2nd career and it is stores like yours that keep me wondering about the possibilities. However, I have had a few ask, how can you end with a small fortune, just start with a large one in the audio business

Your friends are wrong! I decided being retired sucked so when asked to start The Source AV I jumped at the idea. It was that or do what the spousal unit would task me with ...Do what you love and. Love what you do! That's my motto

That is a great motto. If you are not doing what you love, then your shooting blanks. The trail you are blazing is a inspiration to this slack dog. I have thought about selling my house and start up a headphone business. However I admit that I know nothing about opening and operating a business.

Yet another reason why California is the best. Here I am over in the UK with all this fun going on. At least I've no shortage of wonderful Head-Fi friends and good merchants.

Thanks so much!  I haven't been exercising my skills recently, so I'm a little rusty, but I'll get my groove back soon.  

 

  I don't know how Cavalli makes their amps sound as good as they do, but I sure do enjoy listening to them. 

 
Me neither!  Every once in a while I ask him to explain it to me.  But by the time we get into the intricacies of various topologies, and his deep level of knowledge, my eyes glaze over just a little bit.  

  I ultimately end up reminding myself the same thing I tell everybody else.  Life it short, just listen and enjoy.
 

  Fun day today! @moedawg140,  @Netforce, my Dad, and myself ended up having a mini met off to the side.

  However, the HD 800 paired with the Tungsten as well as @Donald North's DNA Stratus sounds absolutely divine.

 
I couldn't agree more.  The DNA Stratus is one of the best amps to pair with the HD 800, period.  Here at Cavalli, we have both love and respect for Donald and his work.  Have a listen to that pairing when you get the chance, and you'll know what we're talking about.  

 

I still can't put my mind to rest after hearing the Liquid Gold.

  And I've gotten word from @warrenpchi that the Liquid Tungsten is repaired and on its way back!  

 
It has indeed!  After some minor surgery from Dr. Cavalli, and adequate bed rest, it is once again up and running in fine shape... and on it's way back to SoCal as we speak!  

 

  Will the Codename: Ether E be on hand as well? I got to listen to the latest prototype and it's wonderful with the angled pads.

@warrenpchi the Tungstan prototype will be there the 28th, will any of your other amps be there, like say the Gold or Crimson? I want to listen to things I will never be able to afford.
