    Etymotic HF2 vs Monster Turbine?

Hello headfiers! I currently own Etymotic Hf2  , i love their  clarity, mid-end and high end. However they are lacking in bass i used to use them with tri-flanges and the bass was really weak, but when i tried Gliders (ear tips) the bass is pretty strong now except for some songs where i know...

I was selected to review these headphones in exchange for honest review, that review follows: I have used a lot of different headphones of varying prices and have been enjoying the Monster Turbine Pro Copper headphones ever since I received them.  In short, they are now my IEMs of choice...

Disclaimer:  This review is part of the Monster Turbine Challenge Review program where selected Turbine models are provided to applicants free of charge in exchange for honest reviews.   I have been keeping my eyes (and ears) on the IEM market for the last 5~6 years now. If we were to go...

Question about Monster Beats Tour vs. Turbine

I am fairly new to IEMs and have recently decided to get a pair of IEM with microphone for my iPhone 4. I purchased both the Monster Beats and the Monster Turbine (regular one, not the Pros) with ControlTalk in order to be able to evaluate both of them side-by-side since they are both in the...

How long does it takes to get MTPC back from warranty replacement?

Anybody has sent their MTPC for replacement? How long did it take to get the new set? I sent mine to them and got a confirmation email saying that they received it. But now it has been over a week since they received it and I have not gotten any more updates or tracking number.

Can anyone who owns the Monster Turbines (regular not Pro/Copper/Miles Davis) tell me how they are?

Deciding between these or Eterna v1s or Shure 215s for bassier IEMs under $100. Which of these (along with other bassier IEMs) would you recommend?     Can someone also give me their opinion on neutral IEMs under $100 too?

Monster CHALLENGE Review: Turbine Pro Coppers MOBILE WARNING

At the top level, there’s really no “best“…it comes down to preference. A Mastering Engineer friend talking about professional monitors   You have to find your sound. NikonGod     Note:  I received the Pro Turbine Copper In-Ear-Monitors as a generous “sample pair” in the recent...

~$100 IEMs with enduring build quality

Now that my RE0s are on their last legs (see also:other thread I made here), what would be a more durable IEM to get as a replacement? I like the clarity of the RE0s but would be willing to sacrifice a little. Better soundstage wouldn't hurt either.

My Pro Copper sounds perfect to me but now I got the bug to try the SE535.

I had my Pro Copper's since they first came out. I really like the way they sound with the music I listen too and feel like my search is over.  Will the SE535 sound like the Triple-Fi? I had the Triple-Fi before and never liked them. I am only interested in the SE535 at the moment due to the...

Looking for something between and ER4 and TF10

I looking for some suggestions on some IEM's that would have a sound signature somewhere in between an Ety ER4S and a UE Tripple Fi-10. I own both of these and keep switching back and forth. I find that I like the ER4s a lot more than the TF10. The TF10's recessed midrange is my biggest...

My Monster pro copper eartips come off too easily.

The nozzle on the pro copper is too short I think. I like the gel supertips but sometimes if I have a good seal, when I take the earphones off, the eartips stays lodged in my ear canal because it doesn't a good grip on the nozzle.

iPod Shuffle with Monster Turbine Copper Pros

I just ordered the Copper Pros off of Amazon (For $223) and I was wondering if an iPod shuffle will be able to do them justice.  Has anyone tried this?

    Would I notice a difference?

I currently have a pair of Monster Turbines (original) and I enjoy the amount of bass they produce. Though sometimes it over powers the songs that are not in the R&B and Hip Hop genre.   I felt  it was time for an upgrade to the top of the spectrum. My plan was to get the Sennheiser IE8...

    AIAIAI TMA-1: A Love-Hate Story

Hello fellow Head-Fiers!    I've had the AIAIAI TMA-1's for a few days now and while it was love at first sight once I actually moved in with them, and had a chance to spend some time together, things got really uncomfortable. I'll start by listing the good, followed by the ugly.   These...

    Binaural mixing with LCD-2

There has been many talks about how headphones don't sound as good as speakers, which is probably true as nearly all commercially available music is mixed using speakers for monitoring, so headphones were never intended as the proper listening device. I was thinking how about if we start having...

Westone 2 vs Vsonic GR07 vs MCTP vs MMDT vs RE 272

While on holiday I lost my beloved IE8s which were bought as a gift , unfortunately I cannot afford to replace them, now I'm looking for a fun sound and just from research on head fi and other sources I've narrowed down my list to the five in the title, I listen to all genres but with emphasis...

    MTPG Light on Bass??

Okay, so just recently I bought the MTPC and MTPG from the refurb deal that went on. I burned both of them in for 100hours a peice (with brown, white, and pink alternations with 10min breaks). I was doing an A and B comparison between the two with an RSA predator linked to an Ipod touch. For all...

Want some recommendations. Monster Turbine Pro Gold/Copper, Shure SE215, other?

Hello all!   Total newbie here. I've done some research around here and read some headphone reviews elsewhere, and I've decided that I'm awfully close to purchasing either the MTPC or MTPG. However, I thought I'd still take a shot and post here to see if I can get some recommendations.  ...

Ok a silly Q re sound quality re IEM's

This question is going to sound silly but I am serious about this.  How does the sq of the original Bose Triport IEM compare to that of the fake Monster Turbine Pro Copper.   Reason I asked is that Ive heard the fake Turbine Pro Coppers  have got quite a decent/good sq.

Hard to consider whether chooce Denon a100 or corda swing (please give advice, thx!)

Due to limited of money I only can get eithor of one. I've read a bunch of review over and over again in many times.
