1000+ Head-Fier
Pros: Adds great musicality and engagement
Strong timbre and clarity
Enhances midrange presence and bass weight without congestion
Adds air and spaciousness without pushing treble too far
Slight boost to black background (rare at this price point)
Supple, lightweight, and tangle-free handling
High-quality build with durable connectors and sleeving
Subtle but visually appealing aesthetic
Punches well above its price point in both sound and construction
Cons: Slight softening of note edges, which may or may not suit all setups
Doesn’t deliver dramatic 3D holographic staging (nor should it at this tier)
Soundstage width remains modest, more intimate than expansive
Offers refinement over transformation

1000+ Head-Fier
Pros: Reference-level tonal accuracy, especially with AMP15
Exceptional timbre with AMP16 and Supergain / 12V DC input
Superb modular design with real sonic variation
Handles Redbook (44.1K) and 48K better than many high-end DACs
Outstanding synergy with revealing IEMs like Final A8000
Cons: Weight and form factor make it transportable, not pocketable
Suboptimal performance with high-impedance headphones (e.g. HD800)
AMP modules require 150+ hours of burn-in; they can sound underwhelming out of the box
Once you try a 12V power supply, it is difficult to go back to normal listening
Executive Summary - TLDR
The iBasso DX340 is the first non-R2R DAP I’ve truly enjoyed for classical, jazz, and acoustic music —...

Pros: Clean and transparent sound with excellent detail — the SR5 easily reveals nuances, allowing you to hear all the subtle elements of the recording.
Very expressive and natural midrange — vocals and instruments are rendered as vividly as possible, without artificial coloring.
Controlled yet deep and dense bass — low frequencies are not blurred but clearly defined, giving the music energy and drive.
Wide and well-developed soundstage — creates a sense of space and volume.
Excellent separation of instruments — each instrument has its own place, there is no blending or constriction in the sound.
High frequencies are detailed but very comfortable — the upper frequencies are transparent, but without harshness and with a pleasant, slightly warm tone, which reduces fatigue during long listening sessions.
Good dynamics and emotional delivery — the sound is lively and energetic, never boring or dry.
Balanced frequency range — there are no obvious dips or peaks, the sound is smooth and comfortable for any genre.
A pleasant feeling of air and space in the music — even on dense parts, the SR5 does not compress the soundstage.
Natural presentation of vocals and acoustic instruments — the voice sounds lively and expressive, while strings and wind instruments retain their natural texture.
Well-implemented balance between technicality and musicality — the headphones sound both detailed and emotional.
Cons: Not for super bassheads and fans of dark, overly smooth, calm sound.

Pros: Super Versatile (speakers, planars, dynamics, IEMs)
Non-fatiguing resolution
Power. Lots and lots of power.
Tube rolling
Auto-biasing! Tubes don't need to match!
Switches that can shape the sound (Ultralinear/Triode mode)
Cayin house sound (smooth/beautiful mids)
Articulate and powerful bass (can be tube dependent)
Has a remote!
Absolute beast of a unit. Stunning aesthetics and wood finish.
Cons: Requires two drivers and rectifiers (can get expensive getting the "top" tubes)
The volume step dial is great up to 12 o'clock, then every step after is a pretty big jump in dBs
Main power tubes KT170 can't be rolled (yet)
Size can be a problem for desktop setups (although I love it)
Gets reeeaaal hot near the KT170 tubes
Alright my first official review. I had to do it for the amp that took me to the proverbial/mythical endgame. Hoping to bring the hype-train back.

Thx, very nice review. I love my Soul, but the wheel issues for hard to drive hps made me use a preamp to control the volume. No problem for me as i like class a amps better as a power stage.
The form factor is another problem. Otherwise, it is a stunning end game amp, specially if the wheel is at 5 and the volume is controled in a previous stage (then the soundstage is giant).
Both modes, ul and set are great.
I slightly preffer triode as it has more depth than UL.
I also like more soft mode than dynamic, still giving thunders and there is more ¿texture? on the hit. It gives me more detail in bass drums or snares.
I feel too, my amp question is solved, i just love how it sounds.

Pros: + Great mix of musical feeling and accuracy
+ Strong technical performance
+ Sounds very natural and real
+ Balanced sound from lows to highs
+ Deep and powerful bass
+ Warm and emotional midrange
+ Treble is smooth but clear and airy
+ Wide and lifelike soundstage
+ Enough power for the right speakers
+ No background noise or interference
+ Well-made with high quality materials
+ Easy to find and great performance for the price
Cons: - Less punch and impact than the KT88 or KT170
- Not as quick or lively as the KT88 and KT170
- Not as warm or musical as the Psvane EL34-PH
- Works best with sensitive speakers

Jamsblast

100+ Head-Fier
Pros: - Sound Signature: Bassy, warm, transparent, and detailed with a well-extended treble
- Build Quality: Aerospace-grade aluminum shells offer durability and a sleek, retro aesthetic
- Comfort: Lightweight shells ensure comfortable wear even for extended listening sessions
- Treble Performance: Clean, airy, well-extended treble with controlled sibilance
- Modular Cable: High-purity copper silver-plated wire with interchangeable 3.5 mm/4.4 mm plugs
- Soundstage & Imaging: Spacious, detailed presentation with excellent depth and separation
Cons: - Lower Mids Recession: Male vocals may sound thin or slightly recessed due to midbass bleed
- Planar Timbre: Slight hints of planar timbre may be noticeable to trained ears
- Fit Considerations: Nozzles (~6.0 mm diameter) might not be ideal for users with smaller ears
- Source Dependency: Performs best with powerful sources, although it can be driven by simple DAC/Amps
- Bass Bleed: Midbass can interfere with lower mids, affecting male vocal clarity
- Not a Direct Upgrade: More of a variation than a strict improvement over the T10 original
A shoutout to Artti, thanks for giving me this set to make this review and to give it my sincere opinions and impressions.

Enther

100+ Head-Fier
Pros: Musical sound suitable for certain genres.
Rich, melodic, and present midrange.
Good balance of fun with a clinical edge.
Solid technical aspects, especially in resolution, lateral soundstage width, and dynamics.
Unboxing, looks and superior quality of an IEM of that price.
Cons: It's unforgiving of poor recordings.
If it's a hissing sound, it will be hissing in the IEM.
It has poor immersion. Caused by a just-in-time depth (Z axis).
There's little else to criticize at this asking price.

As much as I want to like this, I'm just not a fan of re-brands acting like this is something new. This is just TFZ naming themselves something else. It's not even a "sister brand" sort of thing. It's just a fresh coat of paint, and giving yourself a different name. Just not a fan of that move.
