KZ EDX PRO X: BEST LOW BUDGET IEM
Pros: Decent vocals
Decent sub and mid bass
Good treble
Great build Quality
Nice looking
Cons: Cables could've been better but nitpicking
KZ EDX PRO X: The Best for its range.

I've had the opportunity to use this for about a week, and here is my review.
(1/n).

Unboxing: Simple, but elegant.

The box doesn't have much to offer, but the way they are presented in the packaging instantly gives them a premium look and the Cyan color that I ordered feels premium too.
The box includes:
IEM, Ear tips of sizes S, M(pre-attached), and L are included.
A detachable copper wire and user manual.

Build Quality: Affordable but Durable.

The IEM itself is durable enough.
The wire is problematic and easily gets tangled; untangling it is quite a hassle.
Plugging in the pins to IEM was a smooth experience compared to CCA CRA.

Fit and Comfort: Decent

These are comfortable enough to wear for session hours, the hook grip always stays with your ear so no chance of their falling away as they go deep in your ears too.
They are comfortable as they don't push your ears like On-Ear Headphones.
The passive noise cancellation is great and unexpected.

Bass: Well-controlled mid and sub-bass.

Bass - Big midbass response! It's not your headphones.

Good mid-bass impact, without being too slow. The texture is decent for the price.
In my opinion, the Rumbling effect is not outstanding, but it is better than average.
Play them at low volume so you don't get your ears hurt.

Mids and Vocals: Pretty and Balanced

Mids- The midrange is bright and detailed, offering a pleasant and impactful listening experience. While the mids can be harsh, they are also rich in detail. This can be unforgiving on tracks with older mastering. However, considering the price, the overall midrange performance is good.
Vocals- are soft and beautiful, especially compared to the CCA CRA earphones. They produce a softer and less bright sound, which can be beneficial as it allows for comfortable listening at higher volumes.

Treble: One kind of Trouble.

Good instrument separation, and listening make you feel heavenly.
The treble has a generous presence with excellent detail. While the treble extension is commendable, it can sometimes be overwhelming.
Sibilance may become prominent and detract from the experience. However, the level of detail and resolution provided for 11$ or 900 INR is impressive.
At high volumes, it might become non-bearable.

Soundstage: Lacking part and Fake.

The soundstage is a bit disappointing, you have to use some software like Dolby Access and DTS Sound-Unbound, with these it gets decent, but for the price, I won't complain, you get more than what you pay for.

Loudness: Extremely loud.

As they are close to your eardrum, they can be quite loud. On mobile devices, 60% volume may be suitable. However, for desktops and laptops, a range of 40 to 45% is often sufficient and more than adequate.

Overall Sound Quality: Segment Leading.

The overall sound quality is leading in its segment. While it has its issues, the affordable price point makes these problems negligible. The V-shaped preset is excellent for both beginner audiophiles and general listeners.

Conclusion
The KZ EDX Pro X is a budget-friendly in-ear monitor that offers impressive sound quality for its price. It boasts a V-shaped sound profile for a well-balanced audio experience.

Designed for comfort, the KZ EDX Pro X ensures a secure fit in the ear canal.

Its standout feature is the affordability. At around $11 or 900 INR, it's an exceptional deal for anyone looking for economical yet reliable IEMs.

Big sound for 11 dollars!
Pros: -Good bass amount and good bass dynamics for price -Really good detail production -Good resolution for 11 dollars -Clear highs -Clear midrange with good brightness -Good imaging for price -Really good soundstage with enough depth
Cons: -Treble range can be harsh -Upper midrange can be really hot -Metallic timbre -Non existent layering
Package

Just iem itself, cable and eartips.

Sound

Bass - Big midbass response!

Really good mid bass impact, without being too slow. Texture is average for the price.

Mids - Bright and detailed.

Harsh but detailed mids. Really unforgiving on old mastered tracks. But overall, good midrange performance for the price.

Treble - Too much amount but good details!

Good treble extension but sometimes being too much. Sibilance can be easily show up and destroy the show. But very good detail production and resolution for 11 dollars.

Should you buy it?

Yes! Because, why not giving a try? Honestly, i don't hear a better iem on this price range. But you if you have more money and if you are trying to save money with getting this... Don't do it because you can pay 8-9 dollars more and you can have better options like Tangzu Waner and 7HZ Salnotes Zero etc. But overall, it's a really good pair of budget iem's.

Worthy Successor? YES! KZ EDX Pro X Mini Review

• Sibilant-free

Cons: ‏‏‎ ‎
• Lean note-weight
• Lack of mid-bass punch

  • I'm sensitive to bass; Too much bass gives me headache. Bruh.
  • I'm sensitive to the presence region (5k to 7k?)
  • I'm sensitive to treble (8k, 12k, 16k, all of it)
  • I prefer neutral, lean sounding sets with laid back but good treble performance (natural decay; iykyk)

What I like:
  • Sub-bass focus -> no bass bleed into the mids
  • Lean note weight, or having no warmth -> cleaner upper mid-range
  • Presence dip -> no sibilance
  • Moderate brightness -> less fatiguing
If you came from the EDX Pro, this is what you can expect to hear:
  • Less bass
  • Less perceived clarity from its less peaky treble (only if your ears can handle the EDX Pro's treble)
  • Smoother sound overall
  • Better detail retrieval
The EDX Pro X has a safer V-shape tuning, making it a much easier recommendation compared to its predecessor. If you couldn't try both IEMs before buying, get the Pro X instead.
