A set of wide-bore ear tips (S/M/L)
A set of normal-bore ear tips (S/M/L)

Okay starting with the design, its more rounded than the BLON bl05 and for me at least is more comfortable. tips used and fit will affect the isolation so it could be good or average.
the box is small and simple, and you get various tips both regular and wider bore, the cable and IEM. Unfortunately, No case is included or at least a pouch would have been nice.

Sound:
The Bass is clean, Sub-Bass presents with as deep but well controlled rumble. Bass placement is accurate, it has texture and noticeable fine details. Mid-Bass is more prominent with an excellent slam, weight and speed.

Mids are slightly warm with good weight and a mild recession, still they come across smooth and quite pleasant to the ears. Vocals sound natural and with good body.
Treble: Is more smooth than analytical with decent clarity.

Soundstage is deep but has average width. Still, it is accurate and far from narrow and congested.

Afterthoughts:
Like the BLON JoJo this one has become a guilty pleasure, I'll admit it performs better than the jojo with more details and control, with a less overbearing bass presentation. Good textured Bass, lush warm mids and relaxed treble, it's very pleasant.

Okay the color choice is unique, but it works and looks good to my Suprise!
Package is small but colorful. inside is the unit, tips of different sizes and a thick cable, but unfortunately no case just the canvas pouch is provided too bad I was down for a pink case.
Build is that standard 05 series build so if those were a problem these will be too, fit wise for me it was just finding the right tips. It should be noted I love the cable and the color and style are attractive.

Sound:
The first thing noted are the BASS it is powerful and well textured but slow and bloomy, bass lacks refinement but is lush and deep.

Next Mids are thick and warm, just like grandma's oatmeal cookies. Vocals and instrument have a recession as with most V-shaped signatures. Still there is smoothness here and it can be pleasant.

Treble comes in relaxed and smoothed over, there is low energy up top and seems lackluster.

Staging is above average in depth but a little wider, it isn't a super holographic and even completely accurate stage.

Afterthoughts:
This IEM is not for the critical listener, it is a fun non serious IEM, to me it's a guilty pleasure. While there are more technical Bass IEM the fun is its charm.

an OFC silver plated cable with a classic 3.5mm plug.

Sound:
Questyle-Pic-8.jpg

The NHB12 DAC:

First we'll start with the Dongle part, The CMA SiP performs excellent with a balanced / transparent and detailed presentation. It is rich and full-bodied with low distortion. It is equipped with two LED lights both red, one is for indication of use and the other two red means you are in hi-res mode.

The Questyle IEM as stated is made of a solid polished aluminum shell so shiny and smooth and matches the inline DAC part well. Inside is a Single Dynamic driver with strong magnetic core, and a DLC-coated diaphragm.
Sound:
Bass: The IEM is tuned towards the Harman with neutral-ish Bass * this opens up using the 3.5mm and a different source like the M15, bass is still well controlled and has respectable texture and speed.

Mids: The midrange presents open and full-bodied, they have both richness and a natural tone. Vocals are well placed, clear and pleasant.

Treble: The highs are super controlled and never present with harshness even though they extend well and are detail rich.

In conclusion:
The Questyle NHB12 is a perfect companion for the Apple user, providing them with both an excellent DAC and IEM that has a well thought of design.

Inside the box, one finds the air phones, a charging cable. The packaging is nicely decorand looks premium.

The opera is made exceptionally well, and has a gorgeous gold trim to it. It is comfortable and provides a decent isolation as well as excellent ANC and call quality.

The bass presents with good control, decent depth, and speed.
The mids are clear and have decent body with warmth and richness, they are forward in the upper mids but a little recessionis heard in the lower.
The treble is airy and has nice sparkle. And also maintains a nice control and no harshness.
Soundstage is accurate, has good positioning and separation with a good width and depth.

The Soundpeats Opera 05, is a well made really fun sounding and detailed ANC Wireless earphone with good features. I think it will definitely fit in my favorites.

Great all around
Pros: Build quality far above its price point! Comfort is superb and the sound signature is super enjoyable. Looks are pleasing to my eye.
Cons: cable is okay , a little stiff.

Let's start by saying the Robin is not only built solid but it's beautiful as well. A fine example of a wooden headphone.
Inside the simple box you get the headphones, a cable of matching color, an adapter and carrying pouch.

Comfort wise, the pads are plush and fit ones ears well, there is decent isolation but mild sound leakage at high but not recommended volumes. I could wear these all day depending on how hot it is outside.

Sound:
Starting down low the Bass is well represented with good depth and some thickness, still it maintains control and in my opinion is some pleasantly smooth sub-bass, the mid-bass slam is speedy, warm, and impactful. Much fun here for bass lovers.
Moving to the mids, the midrange presents well placed and vocals particularly male are lush and pleasant. as with most V-shaped headphones there is recession in the lower mids.
The highs are energetic with nice air and sparkle on top, details are good, and the treble doesn't get overwhelming.
Stage, etc: The Sivga robin has a nice wide soundstage. there is very good separation and accuracy, this makes it great for movies or games.

Afterthoughts:
The Sivga Robin is a good quality set of headphones for the price, and they have good looks with an enjoyable signature that is great for various types of music and media. I like them very much.

Let's talk about the KZ Krila" the giant killa"
The Krila is the latest from KZ and despite it's very low price it performs better than some more expensive models. This is my impressions. Responsive bass good balanced speedy and depth. Mids are clear and positioned well, treble has energy and details. This is emphasized when the switches are on. Good 3D imaging and accurate staging. Comfortable design with a good seal for me. A hybrid done well.
I do like the Krila very much, maybe the AS24 and D-Fi I like a little better but they are more expensive, I can't fault the krila at its price point it's impressive.

A good value V-Shape IEM
Pros: Harmon like tuning* Build is small and comfortable..
Cons: Treble needs more energy but nothing major.
20230411_173233.jpg

The TinHiFi C5 is another mew IEM from Tin , this time using a SPD and BA driver configuration. While it looks similar to the T2 plus the shape is more rounded and looks great in my opinion, its simple yet pretty.
Packaging is cool looking. Inside you get both silicon and foam tips, the C5, Silver cable, and a pouch. The units are comfortable even laying on the bed, I think they will fit most people well and have good isolation.

20230411_173049.jpg

Sound Impression:

Bass: Is well controlled and has good texture and decent weight. This is by no means a bass head IEM but is more than competent to tackle any music well. The Sub-Bass has a rumble and Mid-Bass is speedy with a good punch.

Mids: are smooth and transparent with a natural and balanced tone. Vocals are placed well and have good body. I found them to be enjoyable without any harshness.

Treble: Has good details and sparkle it extends well and is not harsh or laidback. Many will find its neutrality pleasant.

Soundstage: The staging is wide and imaging is accurate and doesn't suffer in busy recordings.

Afterthoughts:
The C5 is a budget gem for sure offering well placed vocals and a wide-open stage, it has both abilities and a pleasant tuning.

Definition of Flagship
Pros: Build Quality in both exterior and internals.
Good seal and Fit*
A lively but well-tuned signature.
Accessories are plentiful and quality is very good.
Cons: Cable is very robust, and ear hooks a little small but fixable. Burn in is required to get the full experience!
20230423_111919.jpg

Let us start by saying that one look at the package you know this will be a premium product.
Inside you will find everything you need to fit the MS5 into your ears 3 sets of tips in sizes small to large. one for vocal, one for Bass, and one balanced (my favorite) also an amazingly well-made cable that is good looking but heavier than average. While some have had problems with this it was only the ear-hooks that I found small for my ears and had a little pulling force when using long term. This was fixed with mild heat to reshape them. There is also a very generous sized case and three tuning nozzle filters. Bass is Red, Silver is Treble, and the Matching rose gold or copper is balanced.
You can find the complete specs and information here https://www.hidizs.net/products/ms5-xo-bundle

My personal opinion.
The Dark Angle is designed to look like angel wings, and it does, the shells are solid and look very strikingly beautiful an almost gothic futuristic design. The signature and look are unique compared to many flagship IEM out now and that's part of why I like these.

Impressions of sound!

Treble:
The highs are lively and have very good energy, the airy sound and details are excellent and at normal volumes and using the bass or balanced filters it is well extended and controlled. I personal didn't like the treble filter. I think treble heads would be pleased with that one.

Mids:
Midrange is rich and full of details here. The separation and clarity are excellent. Vocals have good body and are placed in front of the instruments. I found the texture and robustness to be very enjoyable. There is a little hotness with female vocals in the most upper mids but nothing to harsh or concerning. Male vocals are thick and so pleasant.

Bass:
I will start by saying the Bass is well defined. This is Bass done well, there is elevation but nothing Bass head levels or to a point they interfere with the other frequencies. Sub-Bass has a deep and responsive punch with both control and texture. Mid-Bass is punchy and tight with great details and impact. Both Sub and Mid have speed and are placed perfectly.

Staging:
Soundstage is wide and deep; it is above average but still is natural feeling. I found the separation is very good and placement was very accurate. Playing No Mans Sky, Mine Craft and Doom, worked out perfectly as did watching a few movies on the go.

My Afterthoughts:
The Hidizs MS5 Dark Angel is a extremely well-made IEM, I'm sure much thought went into the design, and it shows. This one is lively, musical and with detailed and competent technicalities. I
haven't had an IEM like this since the very different Kinera Hodur, the MS5 is now living in my favorites box, I imagine it will be there for a long time.

Pleasant, Smooth, and Detailed
Pros: Good and solid BA bass, a smooth and relaxed IEM with good details and technicalities
Cons: Treble is Subdude a little, case smaller than I would like.

20230328_213606.jpg

The Kiwi-Ears Orchestra lite
It comes in a smaller and responsible package. Inside one finds various tips, a beautiful cable, and a smaller but nice-looking case. The Orchestra lite is made extremely well and makes a good seal on my ears, giving both comfort and isolation way above average.

The Orchestra lite is a more budget friendly version of the renowned Kiwi-ears Orchestra. The lite comes in at nearly half the price and has similar features. There are eight BA drivers paired with a triple crossover and it definitely has good coherency.

Let's get to my opinions on the sound, I have used a variety of devices including but not limited to my ifi Gryphon, Tempotech V6, Dethonray SG1, TRI TK-2, Questyle M15, Aune S1X, SMSL SP200, and Hidizs XO. Music in formats from High MP3 to DSD.

Stating with the Bass, lower end has a decent and expected BA presence, the Bass is good there is a smoothed but notable impact, nothing like a nice DD but it is more noticeable than the similar Hidzs MD4. Sub-Bass has good impact but is not very speedy, in terms of quality it has a good weight and depth considering this is a BA. Mid-Bass has better speed and tone. Overall, I do like the smooth warm quality these BA bring to the table here.

Midrange:
The Mids are very good. The lower mids are warm and very well placed just as is the upper more natural Mids. They have details but are more relaxed and richer, giving them a very pleasant tonality.

Treble is Neutral and is more towards the polite side, though it is not lacking, its not super detailed or sparkling. It has more than enough details and energy to be enjoyed but too me it's safe and needs a little more energy.

Soundstage: The staging is not the widest but is far from intimate, still it works for me. imaging and accuracy is excellent.

Afterthoughts: This is my second Kiwi-ears and the theme here is the same. The company continues to produce a IEM I personally would use all day no problem. The Orchestra is a beautiful, and well-tuned, with distinct abilities that make it unique.

Resolution and Timbre but not much else
Pros: Built well and very nice to look at too. Decent accessories and it fits well in my ears.
There are relaxed details and mids are more emphasized.
Cons: It is a little bright for some, spikey on the top end, sound is shouty but can be modified. Bass is very light and neutral. Some inconsistencies in tuning
IMG_20230215_101246_303.jpg

Im going to keep it simple.
decent packaging inside is everything you need, cable is good, ear tips are average and the IEM themselves are very beautiful.

Sound wise these have been reported Bass heavy, Bass light, muffled and shouty with brightness.
For me mine was not as complex. The Bass was neutral and light but had smooth details with minimal impact. The Mids presented well defined but did have some brightness / forwardness with female vocals and instruments. Not to a point they got annoying but it's still there. I found the treble was relaxed and smooth but with a fast drop off. Soundstage was average and had good imaging. These are one of a few dual DD IEM I own and this is not remotely a favorite. Details were smooth and resolution and overall performance was a Natural sounding but bright IEM.
Afterthoughts:
The company tuned these for the Asian market but sold them in the US and other markets, so I can forgive some brightness and hope there next IEM is better and still looks as nice.

Pros: Build is both elegant and solid, the cups are comfortable for long usage.
Cons: Flat tuning may not be for everyone. nothing else at its price point.

The packaging is environmentally friendly and simple. Inside is the headphones, a cable and stereo adapter.
The HW501 are very nice looking for a set of headphones under $100 and made of mostly wood and metal. the pads are comfortable for long use and easily changed out. the cable is dual 3.5mm to single 3,5mm so its not difficult to find a replacement.

Dynamic DriverSelf-developed large-aperture nanofiber material 50mm drivers

20230306_151614.jpg

Sound:
At first notice the ALABS are very neutral, Bass is linear with good speed and details, the MIds have good body and are forward and centered, the highs are detailed and drop off quickly but still have enough sparkle with good air.
The soundstage is above average for a closed back and accurate with good overall separation from the 50mm driver.

I think people looking for this type of signature will find these a great value.
20230306_144914.jpg

My afterthoughts:
The ALABS HW501 is a true studio monitor and does a great job at presenting a natural and well defined true sound, the build is exceptional for the cost, and I love the look.

A better Chu?
Pros: Build quality is outstanding, nice accessories, sound is neutral, and details are plentiful.
Cons: A little bright before burn in, shape may not be the best fit for all, and isolation is just average.
20230228_104428.jpg

The LAN comes in a really nice-looking package. inside you will find the LAN an IEM of similar shape to the Moondrop Chu but perhaps twice the size, even if it's still very tiny.
The LAN is made well with a solid build of all metal and a good quality cable, together they look like an IEM that cost far more.

Sound is neutral in most aspects.
Bass: has average texture but excellent details and speed. Mid bass seems more prominent at times, but a Sub-Bass rumble can still be heard when called on, just don't expect it to dig deep here.
Mids: Present with a clear and no bleed is present, female vocals have more focus, but male vocals have sufficient body to be enjoyed as well.
Treble: Is tuned safely tuned, I found it to have a pleasant level of sparkle and very good details without harshness.
Soundstage: Was open and accurate, while far from the widest in the price range it managed to give a decent and natural field size in both width, depth and height.

Afterthoughts: The LAN follows in the pathway the Chu had presented with some minor differences in tuning and a major upgrade in style and build quality, it's a worthy competitor in the budget arena.

Good dongle for the Price
Pros: Clear detailed sound, low cost, and built well.
Supports S-BALALNCED, ESS chip is efficient.
Cons: Not a switchable cable, the USB-C is square and rather large for a phone case.
The Dongle is not the most powerful in its price range.
20230216_152938.jpg

The package like the product is simple. Inside is the Golink and two adapters one for Lightning and the other for USB-A.

It's a small dongle and easy to carry around even in an IEM case. the build is solid and my only two cons are it has a non-removable cable, and the USB-C plug is big and blocky. I had to take my main phones case off to use it, fortunately I have several other phones. Using the device one can immediately hear a much-improved sound, brighter and more detailed than most stock devices. The GoLink is not partially powerful but paired well with most of my IEM collection. I did try it with my full-sized planar headphones, and it worked reasonably but I would recommend this more for in ears.

Afterthoughts:
The GoLink is a low-cost solution for better sound on the go and it has a nice clean and detailed signature with good resolution. For this I would recommend it for your travels.

Great alternative DIY headphones
Pros: comfortable, great sound and good accessories
Cons: no balanced cable, headband may not be for everyone..
20230207_220855.jpg

The OKCSC ASH comes with a carrying case, cable, adapter and extra G-cushion style pads. The wood grain of the natural ash wood is pretty, even if mine had a few defects. it was okay, because I plan to sand and stain them later as well as change the headband. That is the attraction to these kinds of headphones, they are so customizable. I tried many different kinds of pads but found the original the best for me. The cable is a cloth or nylon and has a leather cable tie.

Sound:

I found the Bass to be almost neutral at times but when a songs Sub-Bass presents the ASH is no slouch. Bass has good depth, speed and weight. Mid-Bass has a tight punchy presentation.

Mids are full bodied and rich with a little warmth below and brightness up top. The forwardness and upper mid brightness can get a little spicy on certain music types and brighter tracks, but it wasn't painfully shouty or harsh.

Treble is open and airy with great details and sparkle. The highs have good energy without over doing it.

Soundstage and imaging are wide, deep and accurate. It's fantastic for gaming and watching movies.

After thoughts: The OKCSC ASH is a good value for people looking for a set of headphones that are wide open and detailed.

power and class
Pros: Plenty of power for any headphones, built like a tank , looks very classy
Cons: 45w is just adequate for small speakers, unit is large
20230213_124128.jpg
20230212_132653.jpg

Let's start with the build quality, Burson is known for high quality parts and equipment. The funk is as expected, or should I say unexpected as I had no idea this was coming in lol.

The IO is basic in its presentation, you have a single ended headphone out and a headphone and mic combo, made for gaming. while this is a good idea 90% of gaming amplifiers have built in DAC chipsets, a feature the Funk doesn't unfortunately. It also doesn't have balanced input and outputs. What you do get is speaker out, but this is only 45w and on larger speakers only moderate volume is achieved.

The rest of the review we will talk only about the headphones part of the amplifier as this is my main area.
It worked well with the Mic connected sound was clear and reasonable with no ground noise.
Using it for gaming I could hear the mini details in each level and atmosphere was enjoyable. The imaging was spot on.

Using my planar headphones, they were perfectly powered and sounded great on this amplifier. The Funk is crystal clear and detailed with a open and transparent sound.

Conclusion:
The Burson Funk is a premium product. It's probably the most powerful one I've used in some time. If you have a need for something of this particular nature, go for the Funk you won't be disappointed.

budget single dynamic
Pros: pretty colors, build is average, full range and high-resolution tuning.
Cons: treble tuning is more aggressive.
20230120_195823.jpg

I found the colors to be very pretty and reminded me of my first KZ, fit was good, and they are very lightweight and comfortable for me. Isolation was just ok, maybe because of the light shells. accessories include tips and a cable. neither of them are bad just average.
20230120_195328.jpg

Sound:
Bass was impactful with a thick and textured Bass that had average control and rolled off quickly. The Mids had a neutral tone with a little recession, but vocals were forward and transparent. They sound a little dark to me. The female vocals had a little more presence than the male ones, but details were good overall. Treble was aggressive in some places and lacking in others but still pushed out some details and sparkle in some songs. It went along well with the Bass response so I can't fault it there.

Conclusion. The KBEAR STORM is a unique V-shaped tuning that has familiar properties. Not on my favorites list for sure, I hope the next iteration is better.

The box art and style makes this seem like its far more expensive. Inside you will find the Cadenza IEM, a cable, and three sets of tips. Unfortunately, no case or pouch to protect such a lovely IEM. I found its rounded shape to be perfectly comfortable and I think that for most this will be also.

So, Isolation was excellent, as was fit and build. the cable was more than adequate in durability. The bore on the tips all seems similar with only material providing the difference. Personal opinion these look so gorgeous!

Let's get to the sound.

Bass: The Beryllium driver produces nice punch with decent speed and control, it is not the best I've heard but yet it's so pleasant and big sounding. Sub-Bass is the focus here, Mid-Bass hangs a little back, but it is heard just fine due to forwardness of the Bass in general.

Midrange: Mids are full bodied are rich, there are no harsh edges here just simple organic and with just the right, well everything. No they are not the most emphasized or detailed or technically best but what they are is well tuned, well placed and very pleasant and natural sounding.

Treble: The highs are very well balanced with a smooth tonality yet have details and presence. They seem to have just enough air and sparkle to be heard without harsh spikes. I found the treble as with the other frequencies pleasant and safe.
Soundstage: Is an average and natural field both depth and width, but accurate and with very good details and separation for something in this price.

Afterthoughts:
I really like the Cadenza in looks, comfort and performance. This is by no means the best in class, but it is amazingly well tuned with its safe but not boring tuning with smooth but detailed performance, it's an enigma for sure.

"My opinions are mine and I am not paid, influenced by anything other than my love of music and this hobby."

The TinHiFi C3 comes in at a competitive price range, and there are so many good IEMs in that range. The Tin C3 follows in the Harman target making it pleasant with no rough edges.
Inside the box you will find probable the best-looking silver cable that Tin has made to date in my opinion, you will also find a large selection of tips and the IEM but sadly no case or pouch.

I find the construction well done with an ergonomic, smooth and rounded shape, so many will find it comfortable as I did. Isolation was good with proper size tips.

Sound:

Bass Mid-Sub:
Bass present with a typical Harman punch while not as speedy as some it maintains a decent thump and with control and a fair quality as well. Sub-Bass hits with a nice depth and texture but I find Mid-Bas steals the show with just a little more presence and power. Bass in general has a natural timbre that is very pleasant with rock and pop music.

Midrange:
Mids present with good details and clarity there is little bleed from the Bass and only slight recession. The separation of instruments is decent. Vocals both male and female sound full and have good weight and emotion, they can be very engaging.

Treble:
Highs are quite pleasant. Having a natural openness and extension to them with better than average details and clarity.
I found it had just enough sparkle to make vocals and instruments to shine.

Soundstage ETC.:
Soundstage is moderately open with a width and depth of almost equal proportions. I think the C3 improves much on the T3+ here with better separation. Details and accuracy are still very good.

Afterthoughts:
The TinHiFi C3 is an improvement on the really nice T3 plus sharing a similar shape and a nice-looking shell I found good looking. I think that its pleasant natural and Harman tuning, make it a good match for an all arounder and daily driver IEM. I love the look and that cable is simply well done.

Obviously, the packaging and accessories are impressive. The IEM themselves are very well made with a 10mm Dynamic Driver with a Dual-Cavity DLC Diaphragm and N52 Magnet, all metal alloy shells with specialized venting.
Also, some very good quality tips and a beautiful 4-Strand Single-Crystal Silver-Plated Copper Cable.
I found isolation to be above average considering the venting and with the stock tips, comfort was excellent.

Sound: Harman with a very natural tonality.

Bass:
The Bass presents itself to be well defined, it is by no means heavy but well textured and detailed. The Mid-Bass is more at the forefront but ever so tastefully the Sub-Bass rumble can be heard. This is a case of more quality Bass than quaintly, but it is still there to be enjoyed without bloat or overpowering the Mids.

Midrange:
The Mids are Neutral, Clean and I found them to be very pleasant with a good amount of body and a clean, transparent sound.
There is good body and details in both Male and Female vocals and while the lower Midrange is transparent the upper midrange is bright, this only adds to the charm of the Kimas rich tonality.

Treble:
The highs are neutral and smooth with decent air and details, the Kima has good energy and treble is very pleasant.

Soundstage etc. The Kima has a good kind of organic field it is not intimate, but median is size. The separation and accuracy are very good and doesn't faulter from overly busy tracks.

Afterthoughts:
The Dunu kima is just under $100 and while there is a lot of competition. It stands out for it pleasant and well-defined tuning. Quality Bass, emotional well done Mids and non-offensive highs, with very good separation and imaging. Its built well and comes with good accessories. I personally like this charming IEM.
