Hello all. I have an aune t1 rev1 and was wondering if this will drive he-500s properly . I tried searching but couldn't find anything definitive. I'm looking to pick up this headphone if so. I know they can drive the he400, but I may want to take the next step with the 500s to compliment my...- FinalAura

Are trades allowed here? I'm wondering if anyone in the US would be down to do a straight trade of one of my Amperex Orange Globes for a Voskhod (rocket logo) or Siemens, just a tube thats more forward sounding. My curiosity is getting the best of me, haha.- FinalAura

Hey guys, just wanted to update. Got my unit and it sounds great. I paired with mine a $10 amperex bugle boy tube and love its sound with my grado rs2i's and KRK studio monitors. One thing I wanted to bring up was that I asked earlier in this thread if this unit could be controlled...- FinalAura

Hey guys, I have a couple of questions. 1. Would this be an upgrade from the udac (1st gen, not udac2). Mine is starting to bite the dust and im looking for a new dac. 2. I mostly listen to music through my KRK studio monitors, and what I liked about the udac was that i could connect...- FinalAura

Oh yeah, totally forgot about the lifetime warranty with koss! Do they need the original box and receipt though? If so, i'm out of luck cause I have neither... Anyhow, thanks for all the suggestions. I'll look into the RE2, M1, and Proalpha.- FinalAura

Budget earphones ~$30
Hello, its been awhile I'm looking for a pair of earphones or iems around 30$ price range. My koss ksc75 and jvc marshmallows both died and I really liked the sound from both. I liked the ksc75 more, but both were great. This will be mainly for use with an iphone4 with high bit mp3s but...- FinalAura

Best external USB DAC $100-$200
Actually, my swans speakers are self-powered, so that shouldn't be a problem, I believe. Swans M10 Headphones are the of least priority, but if they do need an amp with the gamma... i'd rather not go that route. The highest end headphone I'd probably get would be the AD700. I've read those...- FinalAura

Best external USB DAC $100-$200
Thanks! I'm leaning more towards the udac since I'll be able to use headphones with it if I ever get some good ones. I saw the gamma lite in the f/s thread, but i can't find any comparisons between the two. I'm worried the udac won't sound that great with speakers though. It should provide a...- FinalAura

So are there any other contenders that I should know of? I read mixed things about the akg k240s studio. Some say it needs an amp, some say it doesn't. I think these could work for me if they don't need an amp- FinalAura

Hey all. I'm newbie when it comes to headphones, and only have experience with my JVC HA-RX700 for full size cans, and JVC Marshmallows/KSC75's for portables. However, I think I'm now ready to try some full-fledged midrange headphones, since I don't think I will ever venture (or be able to for...- FinalAura
