yes. its only a quarter of the cost of passport. i bought it for fun, no intent of using the pan am outdoors. using it as a portable charger for my gadgets.

Just wondering if it works well if I use the A4 as a DAC pre-amp while connecting the headphone out of the A4 to the input of the ALO PanAm :o   Using a pair of Fostex TH600.

I don't see the need for AA batteries, try using Astro external battery packs which outputs 12 volts.

A little off topic but does anyone know how to get started with playing audio files on a tablet that feeds into the Pan Am via OTG/USB? Tried using Poweramp but it doesn't work.   edit: android tablet btw :D

Try it with a ALO Pan Am and the russian military tubes (voshkod brand) or the mullard tubes, you won't be disappointed :D
