Hi I have UE Super fi pro. The cable jacket is clear. I see the cable inside clear jacket near the earphone turning green! Does it happen to you? I believe that UE is well-known but how can it happen to me? Is there anyway to fix it? otherwise i need to order another pair of replacement cable...

I've been using amp+DAC , but am not quite clear how this thing works when i connect the amp to the laptop through USB cable. Is it correct that signal bypasses the internal soundboard and goes through the external DAC? In that case, why not using something like this Creative ExpressCard Sound...

if you rip CD using EAC. I can't tell the difference between WAV (using EAC) and AIFF (using Itunes) THe reason i use AIFF because i like the album art in my Ipod classic...it's cool to me

Sorry to steal this thread but have Go-Vibe Petite and Suprer fi 5 pro and i have question: Should I lower the gain setting (default now is 9) on Go-vibe? UE Super Fi5 Pro has impedance of 21 ohm . When turn volumn jsut to 8 o'clock, it's already too loud and hurt my ears thanks.

Hi, In Super Fi 5 pro, each wire has two pins. How can i tell which pin is positive or negative from looking at the wire? I believe each wire has R and L at the base. thanks.

Several folks in this forum recommended Denon AH-C551 because of good low bass. I may give it a try.

I agree with both : Supre Fi is hard to keep it in the ear, however, It works nicely with COmplys foam. So far i don't have to keep pushing it in the ear canal. I'm pretty happy with Super Fi 5 + Comply foam so far.

I tried the one you shipped. It was comfortable, but i decided to to try silicon as well.Then , the silicon was uncomfortable, that's why i ordered Comply. I didn't really know the one you shipped is T-400 . One of tip ripped off when i tried to take it off for cleaning.

Just received Compys T-500. I must say that this is it. I wouldn't use any tips other than Compys' Foam tips. It fits nicely, and most importantly, it's comfortable! Bass is tighter with Super Fi 5 pro. Question: How did you clean the tip? The instruction says not washing. I will order...

I have Go-Vibe Petite+DAC. It's good amp and much improved than listening to Ipod alone. Since this is my first amp and it fits my budget, i can't compare to the others. However, i read a good thing about RSA Predator which i plan to upgrade in the future.
