how many wires in senn 600 replacement cable in each channel? I would like to make a XLR version cable for my 600 based on the stock cable, so I need to know if there are 2 wires in each channel. Thanks Kai

I saw in headphone.com that Sennheiser HD 600 has XLR cable for blockhead. What is the use of XLR? Because I don't think HD 600 can make good use of balanced signal.

Here is my DIY Corda HA-1! I just use cheap capacitors(except the 4 rubycon capacitors) in the power supply part. For signal part, I use WIMA WKP capacitors and Alps potentiometers. The sound come out is wonderful I want to thank Jan for designing this amp and giving me advices on this...

After reading threads about Jan's amp, it is said that bad topology may drive LM6171 crazy. What is the meaning of bad topology? Is it the components are too closed? Is it the soldering is too bad? Is it that some rules should be followed when deciding the topology? or anything else...

I have bought nearly all components, but I can't find LM6171 and Alps 10k potentiometer. I can only find Alps 50k potentiometer. My question is: What other Op amp can replace LM6171 and can I replace the 50k Ohm potentiometer with the 10k Ohm one? Thanks for your attention.
