    Foobar 2000 Screenshot Thread

I've been rocking foo_silk for a while now. I love the last.fm integration and auto-downloading cover art and artist photos. Def recommended

Show us your Head-Fi station at it's current state. No old pictures please...

Quote: I'm really enjoying it so far. Since upgrading I finally understand why people find the Alessandro MS2 fatiguing, at louder volumes the treble is a bit like being stabbed in the ears  -_-   I haven't had a chance to try out the setup with my Fostex T50RP yet, I'm sure there...

Just listened to some Fostex T50RPs today... WOW!

I just ordered my T50rp from Front End Audio, ~$110 shipped to Australia. Still on backorder though, hopefully mine will be sent from the shipment that supposedly comes in on the 30th.    I have to admit I haven't read the whole thread, I have some questions about the mods... Which mods...

Just listened to some Fostex T50RPs today... WOW!

Awesome :) I'm really keen to get a pair of these now. For ~$75 you can't really go wrong... Are there any online shops that actually have these in stock? I've only checked Front End Audio and B&H Photo so far and they're both out. Also, for the Aussie's who've bought from Front End, how long...

Just listened to some Fostex T50RPs today... WOW!

Would an Essence STX soundcard be beefy enough to drive these? People seem to be having no trouble running 600 ohm Beyers with this card

What are people using to drive these 'phones? Do they require amping?

$400 Budget: Headphones for Metal Music

I enjoy the "bright" sound, so Grados would be ideal for me :) In regards to the 325i, is that the phone the Alessandro MS2 is based on? I ask becuase its easier for me to get my hands on Alessandro's where I live, the markup on Grado's internationally is ridiculous...

    Best IEM for Dubstep/Drum n bass/Dance music

Well I'll be waiting a while until I purchase anyway, i'm still investigating other IEM options at the moment. I'll keep an eye out for any good US deals in the meantime as well ;)

We're loaning AND giving away a Go-Vibe Porta Tube amp!

This is pretty cool! Will loaning be open for the foreseeable future, or is it only available for a limited period? Coz I'd love to be able to try it out in a few months once I've got some decent cans to try it with :P

    Best IEM for Dubstep/Drum n bass/Dance music

Cheers for links. Seem to be about the same as ordering them from the US after factoring in postage, so may as well buy locally. The only other way might be to grab a set from the classifieds here, but even then it's not significantly cheaper and won't have a warranty... I think Headphonic might...

The Xonar Essence STX Q/A, tweaking, impressions thread

How do you guys rate this card against amp/dac combos at roughly the same price? I was originally looking at an amp/dac for flexibility down the track, but currently I would just be using my PC as the source. I've been told that for the price the STX is a better buy than the Maverick D1 for...

Ipod classic - rockbox - its happening.

Wow, this is the first I've heard of a RB port, I'd pretty much given up hope and stopped checking years ago :P Apologies for not wading through the whole thread, but can someone catch me up on the current status? Plus I haven't used RB since 2006 on my iRiver H10, lol.   How stable is RB on...

$400 Budget: Headphones for Metal Music

I'm basically looking for the same thing, a good set of full size cans for metal/rock for < $400. My options are a bit more limited to as i'm in Aus and shipping from overseas can be a killer sometimes. I've been looking seriously at the MS2i for some time now. I've heard they're great for rock...

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum

Hey guys. Looking for help deciding between Alessandro MS2's and Beyerdynamic DT250's. Sadly no shop near me (Canberra, Australia) has these to audition so i'm looking for opinions here. They're roughly the same price from Aussie online stores.    - Primary genres: Electronic, Metal, Rock...

REVIEW: WESTONE 3, the ULTIMATE UNIVERSAL IEM vs everything else

Hi all, been lurking on the boards for a while now and was wondering if anyone knows what's the cheapest way to get my hands on a set of these in Australia. So far I'm thinking the eBay option is probably best, but if anyone knows of a better way I'm all ears
