If the changes they've made to new HA2SF have bought the sound that close to the Nirvana, then "hats off" to Auris. It's half the price of the Nirvana! I have the HA2se and will be booking a dem of the HA2SF.

Think you've hit the nail on the head! Didn't change the ohm output from the 150 ohm setting that I have it on for the lcdx.....doh!... That's more than likely the cause of what I was hearing, a bit to much added bass bloom on the utopia.

Best £690 I've spent. Sold my Naim Nds and don't miss it one bit. There was enough chat on the Naim forum comparing the Hugo/2qute to the Nds that I knew I wouldn't regret selling it (and pocket the massive difference ). I imagine Chord will bring out a new version of the quetest in 2-3 years...
