Alright ! problem solved!! the solution was rather simple ... everything of the set up was correct .. in asus xonar centre all i did tick the spdif check box and volia   guys thank for all ur support and prompt replys

hi guys again .. optical out from my ps3 was also working fine ..so i should narrow down to my asus xonar essence stx and the dacs coaxial in .. probably something to do with drivers ? or maybe software .. the volume was also controlled by my speaker and not my dac ... is that how it suppose to...

in fact i could even see red led flashing out from the coaxial port of my sound card ... sigh .. anyone have more ideas ?

hmm since this threat is kind of a recommendation thread as well ... so could u guys recommend some daps that have really good sqs or at least good bass ? personally i like meizu because i am a bass head and meizu have some quality bass paired with my xbi(bass version of x3s) that gives...

btw how would u compare to m6 sl and the sp version ? i do not own the sl version yet .. but if its a tad better i might consider getting the 8gb version but i have heard the mediocre screen(compared to sp) and low batteries are the difference in the sl ? what about the sound ? any difference in...

o gosh i have been using crossroad xbi with meizu currently and i am using the old 2gig sp version ... i've been using this old trust worthy player for years and its battery life is deteriorating day after day i thought i should replace the batteries .. but seeing the opportunity to upgrade...
