I agree! Go without the PTH version.

It feels like I am under water every time I use the Shure olives. Triple flanged tips on the other hand never works for me. The tip seems to be too long. I don't know how I am suppose to cut it.

I know "Tomleemusic" sells Shure tips. Don't know if they have it in Toronto.

My iPhone with SE530 makes this hissing sound. My iPod Nano 1G and iRiver clix does not have any hissing sound. I only hear hiss when there is no music. You got a pretty good deal for the SE530PTH version.

Maybe 10 years from now when nanotechnology becomes mainstream, we might have IEM with 100 balanced armatures. I think there is still room for improvement.

Just do the wax mod. I think that made a huge difference. The wax mod doesn't really void the warranty. Taking the wax is takes 2 second. I think now my EX90 with Shure olives made a HUGE difference in terms of seal and comfort!

I got my EX90 at Sony Store outlet. I knew it wasn't fake! Anyways the JP EX90 look so much nicer than the US box. The box said my specific mode was made in 2006. I guess in 2007 they change the letter back to gray.
