This USB Dac (DIY) is made by a friend of mine; it's called microDAC v1.1. This Dac use Burr Brown 2706 processor without oversampling and it's a minimalist Dac. The sound it's warm, without  harshness ,is almost analogue sounding. I've insert some images:

 I need advice about these hedphones: Shure SRH840. These headphones are hard to drive by a tube headphone amplifier in class A? My headphones amplifier have two outputs: first 300 ohm deliver 2W in class A and second 32 ohm deliver 1W in class A. Thanks!

NAD C542 is better than a DAC solution? For example Cambridge DacMagic.

NAD C542 is a good player? I listen electronic music so I like the bass; also, I want a detail and wide soundstage.

What do you think about his last master recording? I think that the sound it's too loud recorded, I prefer much more the previous versions of his LP's 24/96 from Sony.
